OFFICIAL UPDATE: Student Scholarship Program under Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program from PBBM
To our esteemed students, parents, and fellow community members:
We wish to inform everyone regarding the recent scholarship grant amounting to Php 100,000, wherein each qualified student will receive Php 20,000 for GRADUATING STUDENT only for the school year 2026-2027.
From the very start, our goal was to maximize this aid to cover as many deserving students as possible, knowing full well the economic hardships that many families in our area are enduring. We truly wished we could extend this help to everyone.
However, we were BOUND BY A FIRM INSTRUCTION from the higher office specifying that the budget is strictly intended for exactly five (5) INCOMING FOURTH YEAR COLLEGE recipients, and this condition CANNOT BE MODIFIED.
We want to be open and honest with you: Our office submitted a list of five qualified nominees that are incoming fourt year and have no scholarship and member of indigent families for consideration. The final approval and selection rested solely with the higher authorities. We sincerely apologize that we could not include everyone this time, as the rigid rules of the program left us with no flexibility to expand the coverage.
In observance of data privacy policies and to ensure the safety of our youth, the names of the beneficiaries will not be published on this page. We will only disclose this information once we have received proper authorization and signed consent from the recipients or their guardians.
To all applicants: Please remain hopeful. We recognize your dedication and efforts, and they are deeply valued. Even though this particular initiative had limitations, our office remains dedicated to pursuing more programs that can serve a greater number of our constituents in the days ahead.
