Barangay Punta Miray Successfully Conducts the 2025 Second Semester Barangay Assembly

Barangay Punta Miray, Municipality of Baliangao, Misamis Occidental, successfully conducted the 2025 Second Semester Barangay Assembly in today, November 12, 2025, accordance with the nationwide directive for all barangays to hold the activity.

With the theme, “Araw ng Pakikibahagi: Solusyon at Aksyon, Ating Talakayin ngayong Barangay Assembly,” the event aimed to provide a venue for barangay officials to report on community projects, activities, finances, and concerns, and to encourage constituents to participate actively in local governance.

The assembly was led by Hon. Nicole A. Yap, Punong Barangay, together with the members of the Barangay Council. The activity was graced by the presence of MLGOO Ma’am Carel Cotales, and attended by representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Punta Miray also took part in the said assembly.

The successful conduct of the Barangay Assembly highlights the commitment of Barangay Punta Miray to transparency, accountability, and participatory governance.

Nagmalampusong napahigayon karong adlawa ang programa nga "Balik Skwela" diin naghatag ug mga school supplies ug ang "Feeding Program" para sa duha ka Day Care Centers sa Barangay Punta Miray (Punta Miray & Sitio Tamban).

Kini nga programa nahitabo pinaagi sa inisyatibo sa mga SK Councilors sa Brgy. Punta Miray. 29 ka set sa school supplies ang na hatag sa Punta Miray Day Care Center ug 30 ka mga studyante sa duha ka day care centers usab ang naka dawat ug snacks.

Dili Kini mahimong magmalampuson kung wala ang tabang sa mga SK Councilors ug ang mga donors/sponsors nga nagpaluyo niining kalihokan.

Daghang Salamat SK Federation President sa lungsod sa Baliangao, Hon. Hannah Richie Yap, sa kanunay nga Pag suporta ug pagpakabana sa mga batan-on sa Punta Miray ug kanunay nga nagtinguha sa kaayohan sa mga kabataan. Sugod pa sa una namo nga activity, naa ka mi suporta financial, physical and emotional.

Pasalamat usab sa ubang ni hatag ug mi suporta pinansyal, Lezyl Marimon ug Maria Ivy Marimon, ug sa akong kaubanan nga mga SK Councilors, Hon. Nil Cris Bulay-og, Hon. Lovely Bendoy, Hon. Donna Dominise, Hon. Jyian Lopina, Hon. Darlyn Omandam ug Hon. Jay Ann Sapalleda. Naa mo kanunay ni support ug ni contribute, not only sa financials, but sa Inyong time and effort para mahimong successful atong mga kalihokan, from our first activity nga Inter-purok Basketball League & Christmas Party nga nagpakaon ta sa mga bata, Hip-hop Dance Competition during sa atong Fiesta celebration, and karon kining Balik Skwela & Feeding Program.

Daghang Salamat usab Teacher Argen Testa sa Day Care sa Tamban ug Teacher Marilyn Libot sa Punta Miray, sa inyong pag-gahin ug oras ug sa pagsuporta alang sa among kalihokan.

Hoping more programs to come, nga Dili kinahanglan ug funds gikan sa SK. Padayon ug Lihok, kabataan sa Punta Miray. 🫶
