Baler, Aurora โ In line with DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2026-038 on the implementation of โBawat Barangay Makikinabang Program (BBMP), the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Aurora, successfully assisted Local Government Units (LGUs) across the province of Aurora, through a provincial orientation conducted via Zoom on September 2, 2026.
The session was spearheaded by the provincial Locally Funded Projects team in close coordination with the DILG Regional Office Project Development and Management Unit. The orientation covered key areas relevant to the effective implementation of the BBMP, including the Program Design for Scholarship and Barangay Development Priorities, BBMP Monitoring Guidelines, and BBMP Implementation Tools.
The activity provided participating LGUs with a clear understanding of the program design, guidelines, procedures, and implementation requirements of the BBMP. Through the technical discussions, DILG Aurora sought to ensure that the program is effectively translated into concrete, responsive, and meaningful interventions that address the needs and priorities of barangays across the province. The orientation also provided an avenue for participating LGUs to raise questions and clarify concerns, which were addressed by the resource speakers.
The conduct of the orientation reflects the Departmentโs continuing commitment to providing capacity-building support, technical guidance, and assistance to LGUs, ensuring that national government programs are effectively implemented and that every barangay is given the opportunity to benefit from responsive and inclusive local governance initiatives.
