The meeting served as a continuation of the discussion among the Provincial Government of Aurora, through the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), Provincial Engineering Office (PEO), and the Department of Education (DepEd) Aurora regarding the requirements and process for the release of funds for the implementation of the identified DepEd school building projects. The discussion was participated in by Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (PPDC) Dr. Armida C. Palispis, EnP., and Provincial Engineer (PEO) Ariel P. Costa.

During the meeting, the concerned offices discussed the status of the approved plans and other required project documents, particularly those necessary to facilitate the processing and eventual release of funds. It was emphasized that all necessary documents should be prepared and completed at the earliest possible time to avoid further delays in the processing of the projects.

The Resolution of the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) was also identified as one of the documents relevant to the processing of the project. The concerned offices discussed the status and requirements relating to the BAC Resolution to ensure that the documentary requirements for the release of funds are properly complied with.

The meeting concluded with a discussion on the overall process for the release of funds, particularly the sequence of documentary requirements and the actions that need to be undertaken by the concerned offices and the contractor. The participants emphasized the need for close coordination and timely submission of the remaining documents to facilitate the processing and release of funds for the DepEd Aurora school projects.

AURORA PRESENTS I-PLAN ACCOMPLISHMENTS AT CY 2026 MID-YEAR ASSESSMENT

The Province of Aurora, through its Provincial Project Management and Implementation Unit (PPMIU), participated in the RPCO 3 I-PLAN-PPMIU CY 2026 Mid-Year Assessment and Second-Semester Planning Workshop held on August 27–28, 2026.

During the activity, the PPMIU presented the Province's accomplishments and participation in the implementation of various I-PLAN deliverables. Among the major activities highlighted were the Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with coconut farmers, traders, and other value chain stakeholders; Key Informant Interviews (KIIs); and workshops on PCIP/CIP updating.

The Province also shared its best practices and lessons learned in strengthening coordination, documentation, stakeholder participation, and the implementation of planning activities.

The two-day activity likewise served as a venue for the validation and consolidation of the accomplishments of the provinces in Central Luzon, as well as for the formulation of plans and priority actions for the second semester of CY 2026.

BALER, AURORA | AUGUST 20, 2026

The Joint Inspection Team (JIT) Exit Conference for the PRDP subproject "Improvement of Salay-Kadayacan Farm-to-Market Road" in the municipalities of Dipaculao and Maria Aurora, Aurora Province, was successfully conducted.
The conference provided an opportunity to present and discuss the results of the JIT inspection, including the project’s accomplishments, observations, and recommendations. It also served as a venue for strengthening coordination among the concerned offices and stakeholders to ensure that the subproject is implemented in accordance with approved plans, technical standards, and project requirements.

The activity was attended by representatives from the Department of Agriculture–Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) and the Provincial Project Management and Implementing Unit (PPMIU) members, with the presence of Dr. Armida C. Palispis, Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (PPDC), and Engr. Ariel P. Costa, Provincial Engineer and I-BUILD Unit Head.

The successful implementation of this project reflects the continued commitment of the Provincial Government of Aurora, in partnership with DA-PRDP, to improve road connectivity, enhance access to agricultural communities, and support the livelihood and economic activities of local farmers.

BALER, AURORA | August 11, 2026 β€” The Provincial Government of Aurora, through the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), convened concerned offices and representatives from the Department of Education (DepEd) to discuss the status and updates of nine (9) school building projects across the province.

Dr. Armida C. Palispis, EnP., Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (PPDC) and BAC Chairperson, coordinated with Dr. Dante G. Parungao, Schools Division Superintendent; Erleo T. Villaros, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent; Atty. Glory Pearl Amwao, Legal Officer; Engr. Danilo Torres, Division Engineer; and Edelwinda S. Casballido, EdD, Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division, all of DepEd Aurora, together with Engr. Ariel P. Costa, Provincial Engineer during the meeting to discuss the project status and address legal and documentary concerns affecting the identified project sites.

Six (6) projects have no identified issues concerning land ownership and documentation, while three (3) project sites in Brgy. Ibona, Dingalan; Brgy. El Pimentel, San Luis; and Brgy. Punglo, Maria Aurora require further legal and documentary clarification.

Discussions centered on the provisions of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), particularly the requirement concerning ownership of the project sites prior to construction.

The concerned offices will continue their coordination to ensure that the projects comply with applicable legal, documentary, and procurement requirements.

BALER, AURORA β€” The Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division of Aurora conducted a coordination meeting with Dr. Armida C. Palispis, EnP., Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (PPDC), to discuss matters concerning the procurement requirements for the implementation of DepEd's proposed projects.
The meeting also covered the applicable legal requirements, policies, and procedural guidelines governing the procurement process to ensure that the proposed projects are undertaken in accordance with existing laws, rules, and regulations. Provincial Engineer Ariel P. Costa likewise joined the discussion, providing technical guidance and engineering inputs relevant to the proposed projects.
The participants emphasized the importance of inter-agency collaboration in facilitating the timely and compliant implementation of the proposed initiatives. It was also agreed that continuous coordination among the concerned agencies will be maintained to address technical, legal, and administrative matters, ensuring that all necessary requirements are properly complied with throughout the project development and implementation process.
The activity underscores the commitment of the Provincial Government of Aurora and the Department of Education to uphold transparency, accountability, and good governance while advancing programs and projects that will further strengthen the delivery of quality education in the province.

OLONGAPO CITY, Zambales β€” Muling pinagtibay ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Aurora ang suporta nito sa pagsusulong ng mga programang pang-agrikultura at pangkabuhayan sa pamamagitan ng pakikilahok sa I-REAP RPCO-P/C/MPMIU Mid-Year Assessment and Planning for PRDP Scale-Up na isinagawa noong Hulyo 30–31, 2026 sa Subic Bay Travelers Hotel and Event Center, Inc.
Pinangunahan ng Department of Agriculture – Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) Regional Project Coordination Office III ang dalawang araw na aktibidad na dinaluhan ng mga kinatawan ng Provincial at Municipal Project Management and Implementing Units (PPMIUs at MPMIUs) mula sa iba't ibang lalawigan sa Region III.
Kinatawan ni Ms. Kimberlyn L. Galura si Dr. Armida C. Palispis, En.P., Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (PPDC) at Provincial Project Management and Implementing Unit (PPMIU) Head, habang kinatawan naman ni Engr. Kelvin Kyle Gines si Mr. Arnold B. Novicio, Provincial Agriculturist at I-REAP Unit Head.
Naging tampok sa pagtitipon ang komprehensibong pagsusuri sa implementasyon ng mga I-REAP enterprise subprojects sa ilalim ng PRDP Scale-Up, kabilang ang pagtalakay sa kasalukuyang progreso ng mga proyekto, mga nakamit na resulta, mga hamon sa implementasyon, at mga estratehiyang magpapahusay sa paghahatid ng mga benepisyo sa mga organisasyon ng mga magsasaka at mangingisda.
Binigyang-diin din ang kahalagahan ng mas pinaigting na monitoring at koordinasyon sa pagitan ng DA-PRDP at ng mga lokal na pamahalaan upang matiyak ang epektibo at napapanahong pagpapatupad ng mga enterprise subprojects, gayundin ang pagpapanatili ng mga naipatupad nang proyekto.
Nagsilbi rin ang aktibidad bilang mahalagang plataporma para sa pagpapalitan ng kaalaman at pinakamahuhusay na pamamaraan (best practices) sa pagitan ng mga PPMIU at MPMIU sa Region III. Sa pamamagitan ng pagbabahagi ng mga karanasan at mga aral mula sa implementasyon, inaasahang higit pang mapapalakas ang pamamahala at pagpapatupad ng mga programang naglalayong mapaunlad ang kabuhayan sa mga pamayanang rural.
Patuloy na isinusulong ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Aurora ang matibay na pakikipagtulungan sa Department of Agriculture–PRDP upang maisakatuparan ang mga proyektong nagpapataas ng produktibidad sa agrikultura, nagpapalawak ng akses sa merkado, at lumilikha ng mas maraming oportunidad sa kabuhayan para sa mga magsasaka, mangingisda, at kanilang mga organisasyon.
Sa pamamagitan ng aktibong pakikilahok sa mga ganitong inisyatiba, nananatiling nakatuon ang Lalawigan ng Aurora sa pagsusulong ng inklusibo at napapanatiling pag-unlad ng sektor ng agrikultura, tungo sa mas matatag na kabuhayan at mas maunlad na mga pamayanang rural.
