Action in every corner, purpose in every step. 🧹🌱

Day 2 of the SciMathTech EnviroFest 2026 began with a school-wide Clean-Up Drive aimed at cultivating environmental stewardship, reinforcing proper waste management, and maintaining a sustainable campus environment.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all groups, faculty, and organizations for their active involvement. Guided by the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), each team effectively maintained their assigned areas clean while strictly implementing proper waste segregation protocols. Thank you for demonstrating that meaningful environmental progress begins within our immediate community.

🌿 A night to remember for beauty, purpose, and our planet! 🌍✨

The Eco-Warrior Model showed us all that a runway hits different when it’s driven by real heart and advocacy.

Huge congratulations to our winners and every candidate who stepped onto that stage! You poured your heart into championing our Earth, proving that true elegance is taking a stand for what matters. This was never just a pageant—it was a gentle reminder of what our generation can achieve when we turn awareness into real environmental action.

None of this would have been possible without the amazing community around us. Thank you to our behind-the-scenes team for working quietly to bring this to life, and to our judges and guests for spending the evening with us.

To the parents and families—your quiet support meant the world to every candidate up there. And to our Ansciestas—your cheers and love gave the whole night its soul! Thank you for showing up for our planet and each other. The event is over, but our green movement is just getting started! 💚🌱

Happy Nutrition Month, Ansciestas!

During demanding research projects, quizzes, summatives, and performance tasks, it commonly leads to skipping meals and relying on quick snacks. But as Ansciestas, proper energy and nutrition are essential for our minds to perform at peak capacity.

This Nutrition Month, let’s all strive for holistic vitality and overall well-being; not only by keeping our bodies productive, but also by fueling them with essential nutrients that sustain us from within:m

- To sharpen your focus during long study sessions: Load up on Complex Carbohydrates (like oats, brown rice, whole wheat bread, sweet potatoes, or quinoa) that gradually release glucose into your bloodstream

- To boost memory retention and nourish neural pathways: Incorporate Healthy Fats (found in avocados, nuts, olive oil, and fatty fish) that also help your body absorb essential fat-soluble vitamins.

- To power up your cellular energy (ATP) and stay active: Rely on B-Vitamins (from whole grains, eggs, dairy, leafy greens, and meat) to convert your meals into sustained academic stamina.

- To shield your immune system through demanding hell weeks: Fuel with Vitamin C & Antioxidants (packed in oranges, bell peppers, strawberries, tomatoes, and broccoli) to protect your cells from stress.

Small habits lead to big impacts! 🌿

To combat the rising problem of single-use plastic waste on campus, the ANSHS Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) presents the “One Tumbler per Learner Campaign,” running from July 27, 2026 until the end of S.Y. 2026–2027.

📌 Campaign Overview:
• Target Participants: All Ansciestas, Faculty, and Staff
• Key Objective: Eliminate single-use plastic drinkware by shifting to reusable tumblers.
• Classroom Initiative: Each classroom will feature a clean, functional water dispenser monitored weekly to supply safe drinking water for all learners.
• Monitoring: YES-O officers, class officers, and advisers will track daily tumbler adoption across all grade levels.

Let’s lead by example and show what Ansciestas can do for the planet. Stay hydrated, stay green, and bring your tumbler daily! 💧

Out with the old, in with the green! 🌿

Why settle for just one winner when the whole school can crush it? The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (ANSHS YES-O) is now officially launching the Green Zone Classroom, and this time, everyone can win!

The former Cleanest Classroom Competition has been upgraded into a massive, campus-wide movement. Forget fighting your neighbor for the top spot; now, we’re all leveling up together. The new rule? Any section that scores 90% or higher on the evaluation rubric will be proudly awarded the "Green Zone Classroom" title at the end of every term.🏆

But don't worry, we didn't forget the stakes. To keep the hype alive, a Cash Prize is still up for grabs for the single most unstoppable, consistent classroom at the end of the school year. ✨

The challenge is officially set for Grades 7-12. It’s time to huddle up with your classmates, master your waste segregation, and see if your section has what it takes to set a whole new standard—and maybe strike up a friendly rivalry with last year's legendary champions! 👑🧹

Before you take another step or look out to admire the ocean's infinite horizon, let's take a moment to truly value what it provides us. Today, we celebrate World Oceans Day. 🌊✨

Take time to reimagine our blue planet. Real change starts exactly where you are standing.

This year's theme, "REIMAGINE: Beyond the world we know, a new relationship with our ocean," challenges us to stop viewing the sea as a separate, limitless dumping ground or resource. The ocean gives us over 50% of our oxygen, regulates our climate, and feeds billions. Yet, it is facing critical degradation from plastic pollution, overfishing, and climate change. It is time to shift from passive observers to active guardians of its future. 🍃

Every breath we take connects us to the deep.
To heal the ocean is to heal ourselves. 🫂🌿

Brigada Eskwela 2026 was successfully concluded at Aurora National Science High School! 🎒✨

With the hard work of volunteers, teachers, parents and student leaders, our school is ready for another year of learning and growth! The YES-O also joins the celebration of World Environment Day 2026 🌍💚 and proudly carried out its tree planting activity under the PROJECT M.O.R.I.N.G.A to promote environmental stewardship and a greener future for all.

Thanks to everyone who put in their time and effort. Together we are building a cleaner, safer and more sustainable ANSHS! 🌱♻️

Aurora National Science High School officially marked the commencement of Brigada Eskwela 2026 with a successful and productive Kick-Off Ceremony! 🎒✨

In line with our commitment to a healthy learning environment, the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization officially awarded the winner of the Cleanest Classroom for S.Y. 2025–2026 during the ceremony.

A huge congratulations to Grade 8 - Descartes for bagging the title once again! 🥳 Your dedication to cleanliness and environmental care sets an inspiring example for the entire Ansci community. Along with the recognition, the class received a well-deserved cash prize to support their classroom initiatives. Keep up the amazing work! 💵✨

Thank you to all the volunteers, parents, and student leaders who showed up and worked hard on day one. Let's keep the momentum going, Ansciestas! 🌍💚
