The five-day 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 Training has successfully concluded, marking a meaningful journey of learning, collaboration, and skills development. Throughout the training, participants from various sectors demonstrated dedication, enthusiasm, and perseverance in mastering the fundamentals of data science and Python programming. Each day brought new challenges, discoveries, and practical experiences that enhanced their knowledge and confidence in data analysis and problem-solving. The training not only equipped participants with valuable technical skills but also inspired them to continue exploring the field of data science and apply their learning in their respective organizations and communities.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Guimaras State University - Mosqueda Campus for generously allowing us to conduct this meaningful training. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to all participating Local Government Units (LGUs), DepEd Guimaras, the dedicated GSU faculty members, and students for their active participation and support. Sa pagdiriwang ng ika-10 taon ng DICT sa ilalim ng temang "𝐼𝑠𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝐷𝑒𝑘𝑎𝑑𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝐷𝑖𝑔𝑖𝑡𝑎𝑙: 𝐾𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑘𝑡𝑎𝑑𝑜 𝑠𝑎 𝑃𝑢𝑠𝑜 𝑎𝑡 𝑆𝑒𝑟𝑏𝑖𝑠𝑦𝑜," samahan ang 𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐕𝐈 sa isang mainit na talakayan, tampok ang mga programa at inisyatiba para sa mas konektado, ligtas, inklusibo, at digitally empowered Bagong Pilipinas.

Huwag palampasin ang mga kwentong digital na konektado sa puso at serbisyo mula sa Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao.

The 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐝𝐚𝐲 of the “𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠” training became another meaningful and productive journey for all participants. Despite the challenges of learning new concepts, the participants continued to show determination, active participation, and eagerness to enhance their skills in data science and Python programming. Throughout the sessions, they explored more advanced topics, hands-on activities, and practical applications that strengthened their understanding and confidence. The day ended with valuable learnings, collaboration, and enthusiasm, proving that continuous learning and perseverance can lead to a more fruitful and successful training experience for everyone involved.

On 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑 despite the complexity and challenges encountered throughout the training, the participants remained determined and eager to learn in the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠. Through hands-on activities, discussions, and practical applications, they continuously explored new concepts and improved their analytical and programming skills. Their commitment and perseverance became the driving force in achieving the best outcomes during the training. 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 was both thrilling and challenging for the participants. Despite the fast-paced discussions and hands-on activities, everyone remained eager to learn and explore new concepts in data science. Knowledge continued to pour in throughout the day as participants discovered the basics of Python programming, data handling, and analytics. The training also encouraged collaboration, critical thinking, and practical learning experiences. Truly, another productive and meaningful day filled with learning, growth, and inspiration for all participants from different agencies, LGUs, faculty, and students.

It was a privilege to speak before Federation of Civil Registrars Association Western Visayas on the importance of Cybersecurity Hygiene and Awareness last May 20, 2026 at Raymen Beach Resort.

In an era where information is among our most valuable assets, fostering cybersecurity awareness is no longer optional, but essential. The session served as a meaningful opportunity to discuss responsible digital practices, data protection, and the shared responsibility of creating a secure and resilient cyber environment within public service.

My sincere appreciation to the officers and participants of Federation of Civil Registrars Association Western Visayas for the warm hospitality, thoughtful engagement, and commitment to strengthening cybersecurity awareness across the region.

The activity highlighted the importance of data science and programming in today’s digital world, providing participants with foundational knowledge, hands-on learning experiences, and opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and skill development in the field of technology and analytics.

The Introduction to Data Science with Python Programming Training held at Guimaras State University - Mosqueda Campus brought together participants from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Guimaras, Department of Education, GSU Faculty and staff, and also students for a meaningful learning experience. The activity aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in data science, programming, and digital technology with using Python. Through collaboration and hands-on discussions, the training encouraged innovation, critical thinking, and the practical use of technology in education, governance, and community development. The training also strengthened partnerships among institutions in promoting digital transformation and ICT empowerment in Guimaras.
