Call for Accreditation of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)
and Invitation to the CSO Conference
📌

The Office of the Secretary to the Sangguniang Bayan of Balbalan invites all interested and active CSOs in the Municipality of Balbalan to apply for accreditation for possible representation in the Local Special Bodies (LSBs).

✅ Eligible CSOs may represent in:

Local Development Council (LDC)
Local Health Board (LHB)
Local School Board (LSB)
Local Peace and Order Council (LPOC), etc.

📄 Requirements (1 copy each):

Letter of Application
Filled-out Accreditation Form
Board Resolution
Certificate of Registration
List of Officers
Accomplishment Report & Financial Statement (for 1+ year-old)

🔄 55 Existing CSOs identified for renewal of their accreditation

This strong turnout reflects our community’s commitment to inclusive governance and active participation in shaping local development.

Ensure your documents are updated and submitted to the MPDO or through your Barangay Hall.

📑✅Apply for accreditation with the Sangguniang Bayan of Balbalan!

Only accredited CSOs can be officially represented in Local Special Bodies (LSBs) such as:

– Local School Board
– Local Health Board
– Municipal Peace and Order Council

Your partner in promoting inclusive and participatory governance!

The People’s Council is composed of accredited Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and People’s Organizations (POs) who serve as the voice of the people in local development planning, budgeting, and implementation.

📌 For the past years, this Council has:
✅ Participated in Local Special Bodies
✅ Represented sectoral concerns in policy discussions
✅ Promoted transparency and citizen engagement
✅ Worked with the LGU to advance people-centered development

The Municipality of Balbalan is conducting an official inventory of active CSOs in all 14 barangays!

This activity aims to:
✅ Recognize active and legitimate CSOs in our municipality
✅ Strengthen your participation in local governance
✅ Prepare for accreditation and representation in the Municipal Development Council (MDC) and other Local Special Bodies

🔎 What to do:
✔️ Coordinate with your Barangay or the CSO Desk Officer
✔️ Accomplish the CSO Profile Form
✔️ Submit your form on or before July 4, 2025

📌 Who should participate?
People’s Organizations, NGOs, Cooperatives, Faith-Based Groups, and Sectoral Organizations operating in Balbalan.
