👀: The Sangguniang Bayan of Balangiga, sitting concurrently as the Board of Directors of the Balangiga Water Supply System (BWSS), held an emergency meeting on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 after its regular session to tackle the urgent request of the Municipal Mayor, Atty. Dana Flynch R. de Lira, to adopt BWSS management recommendations and relief measures for all BWSS concessionaires due to the ongoing water shortage/zero water flow problem in the municipality.

Upon consultation with, and clarifications from Mr. Elmer Delantar, CPA (BWSS Billing Officer) and Engr. Fiel Inting (BWSS General Manager - Des.), the Board unanimously approved Board Resolution No. 2026-02 and directed the concerned office to immediately implement all policy recommendations enumerated in the Resolution.
