Bella the cat underwent ovariohysterectomy (spay) here at Dr. Art Pet Needs Veterinary Clinic to have a better lifestyle. Spaying is beneficial as it helps prevent reproductive diseases such as pyometra, reduces the risk of mammary tumors, and can improve overall behavior and well-being.

A very cute Bichon Frise, Sachi, had her fancy teddy bear cut to look even more adorable and charming. Her fluffy coat was carefully groomed and styled to achieve that soft, rounded look that perfectly highlights her sweet face.

With proper trimming and grooming, not only does she look extra cute, but it also helps maintain her coat’s cleanliness and prevents matting. Sachi is now feeling fresh, comfortable, and definitely turning heads with her new look.

Jumong was rushed to the clinic in an emergency state. He had a fever, nosebleed and was very lethargic. Upon hematological assessment, it turned out that he had a persistent infection, was anemic, and had a very low platelet count. A 4 way test kit for tick-borne disease or blood parasitism was also performed, and a clear double line for Ehrlichiosis was observed, resulting in a positive diagnosis.

Because of this, he was admitted to the clinic and stayed for 7 days. With proper care and management, improvements were observed, and eventually Jumong was discharged since his appetite returned. He also became active and responsive, and his CBC results showed significant improvement.

Right now, Jumong is as active as ever and is continuing his recovery with his 5-in-1 vaccination and deworming.
