๐๐๐๐: The Nursing Service Sub-Unit (NSSU) Fleet, in partnership with the Medical Station (MEDS) Fleet, successfully conducted the ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ on 28 May 2026, benefiting a total of Fifty-Six (56) personnel of Fleet Education Training and Doctrine Development Institute (FETDDI) at Balagtas, Bulacan.
The activity forms part of the unitโs intensified campaign in safeguarding the health and welfare of personnel through proactive preventive healthcare measures. With discipline, teamwork, and professionalism, the joint medical team ensured the smooth and orderly administration of vaccines, reinforcing the importance of immunization as a vital defense against communicable diseases.
In line with the vaccination rollout, the NSSU Fleet and MEDS Fleet also conducted Troops Information and Education (TI&E) on ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง to further enhance awareness among personnel. Discussions highlighted the nature of Hepatitis B, its modes of transmission, signs and symptoms, preventive practices, and the critical role of vaccination in mission readiness and force protection.
The successful conduct of the activity reflects the steadfast dedication of the Nursing Service Sub-Unit Fleet and Medical Station Fleet in upholding the highest standards of military healthcare service, ensuring that personnel remain physically fit, medically protected, and always ready to perform their duties in service to the nation.
