𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤: Personnel of Coast Guard Station South Western Palawan (CGS SWP), together with the Marine Environmental Protection Response Unit (MEPERU) Balabac and Lighthouse Keeper, conducted a coastal clean-up activity at Biga-Biga Beach , Barangay Poblacion V, Balabac, Palawan.

The activity aimed to promote environmental protection and raise public awareness on the importance of maintaining clean and safe coastal areas. During the clean-up, the team collected a total of Five (05) sacks of assorted garbage, helping preserve the coastal environment and marine ecosystem.

This initiative reflects the Philippine Coast Guard's continuing commitment to marine environmental protection and encourages the public to actively participate in keeping coastal communities clean and sustainable.

𝗖𝗢𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗡-𝗨𝗣 𝗜𝗡 𝗕𝗥𝗚𝗬. 𝗣𝗢𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗩𝗜, 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗖, 𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗡

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: On 11 August 2026, personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) through Coast Guard Station South Western Palawan (CGS SWP), together with MEPERU-SWP, Lighthouse Keeper (LK1), and residents of Brgy. Poblacion VI, conducted a coastal clean-up activity in Balabac, Palawan.

A total of fifteen (15) sacks of plastic bottles and other non-biodegradable waste were collected, contributing to the protection and preservation of the coastal and marine environment.

The PCG continues to promote environmental awareness and encourage community participation toward cleaner, safer, and sustainable coastal communities.
