CCIS recognized 45 Aral learners from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 3 who successfully completed the Aral Summer Program during its closing program held on June 2.
The summer learning program, which ran from May 6 to June 2, provided learners with an opportunity to strengthen their academic skills, build confidence, and prepare themselves for the next school year through the guidance of their Aral tutors.
The closing program formally started with the singing of a nationalistic song led by Ms. Riojane Bang-ot, followed by an opening prayer led by Ms. Erica Mae Biniahan. The simple yet meaningful program gathered learners, parents, teachers, and tutors to celebrate the learnersโ effort and commitment throughout the program.
Mayady C. Gao-an, Master Teacher, delivered the opening remarks and message. She began by congratulating the learners for completing the program, as well as the parents and Aral tutors for their support, patience, and dedication.
In her message, Ms. Mayady also asked the parents if they had seen learning progress in their children during the summer program. Her question served as a reminder of the important role of parents in supporting their childrenโs education, especially in helping them continue learning at home.
She further expressed hope that the learners who joined this yearโs Aral Summer Program would continue to improve and would no longer be the same learners who would need to undergo the Aral Program again in School Year 2026โ2027.
The completion of the program marked an important achievement for the learners, who showed perseverance and willingness to learn despite attending classes during the summer break.
Through the combined efforts of the school, parents, Aral tutors, and learners, the CCIS Aral Summer Program became a meaningful step toward helping children improve academically and gain more confidence in their learning journey.
