𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Vice Admiral Caesar Bernard N Valencia PN, Superintendent, PMA, visited the Air Force Reserve Command at Clark Air Base, Mabalacat, Pampanga on 28 May 2026.

The PMA delegation was warmly received by Major General Ronie D. Petinglay, PAF, Commander, AFRC. The visit is in line with the conduct of External Validation of graduates of the Academy, highlighting the continuing collaboration between PMA and the Philippine Air Force in strengthening officer development.

Through engagements such as this, PMA ensures that its curriculum, training, and leadership development remain aligned with the operational requirements of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

During the parade and review ceremony at the Borromeo Field, the honorees received the Outstanding PMA Alumnus Award (Ulirang Alumnus ng Akademiya) in recognition of their distinguished service in various fields of endeavors and designations in their respective Command designations. These milestones in their respective careers are testimonies of their exceptional leadership and dedication that brought honor to the Academy.

As he ended his speech, he reminded the cadets with their noble calling and main responsibility as future leaders of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the nation. “𝘛𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘴: 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. The Testimonial Parade and Review remains one of the most meaningful traditions for retiring generals and flag officers, serving not only as a tribute to their years of faithful and exemplary service in the Armed Forces of the Philippines, but also as an opportunity to inspire the cadets through their legacy of leadership, sacrifice, and patriotism. More than a ceremony, it honors a lifetime of dedication to the defense of the nation, the protection of its people, and the preservation of its sovereignty, carried out with dignity, excellence, and honor.

𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗧𝗛 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 | The Philippine Military Academy hosted a two-day technical consultation with representatives of ITDC Systems Development Services on 27–28 May 2026 in support of the Academy’s long-term PMA Growth Plan, which envisions expanding the Cadet Corps Armed Forces of the Philippines to at least 2,000 cadets by 2040.

The consultation focused on strengthening PMA’s ICT infrastructure and future technology requirements, including communications systems, internet connectivity, CCTV, biometrics, network services, cybersecurity, and other digital capabilities essential to modern military education and institutional operations.

As PMA continues its transformation into a globally competitive defense learning institution, the Academy remains committed to providing a safe, secure, and technologically capable environment for future cadets and leaders of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗧 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧| Cadet First Class Dans Uriel B. Ferrer, an original member of PMA “SIKLAB-LAYA” Class of 2025 from Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, graduated from the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) on 28 May 2026.

During his four-year training in the United States, under the Foreign Pre-Commission Training Institution program of PMA with USAFA, Cadet Ferrer earned several distinctions including the Dean’s List, German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (Gold), Cadet Cyberwarfare Badge, Cadet Glider Wings, and Parachutist Wings.

The son of a retired Philippine Air Force pilot and member of PMA “MASINAG” Class of 1998, and a former Broadcast Journalist, Cadet Ferrer shared that growing up around aircraft at Brigadier General Benito Ebuen Air Base inspired him to pursue a career in aviation. Following graduation, he is set to join the Philippine Air Force and hopes to become a military pilot as well.

His achievement reflects PMA’s continuing commitment to developing future AFP officers through international military education, leadership development, and global exposure.

𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗗, 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗦 | Vice Admiral Caesar Bernard N Valencia, Superintendent, PMA, talked to the new cadets, members of PMA Class 2030, to introduce the objectives and expectations of the Basic Cadet and Military Training that will shape the next three months of their journey in the Academy.

The program is designed to transform new entrants into full-fledged cadets by developing their discipline, character, military foundation, and basic soldiery skills. They will also undergo English and Mathematics bridging programs to prepare them for the Academy’s rigorous academic demands.

During the orientation, Vice Admiral Valencia PN checked on the cadets’ morale and encouraged them to strive for excellence, reminding them that outstanding performance may open opportunities to continue their education and training abroad through PMA’s Foreign Pre-Commission Training Institution program.
