𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥, 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙚.

We are reaching out as a medical community in support of one of our own, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗶𝘂𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝘂𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻, a current postgraduate intern and alumnus of Pines City Colleges School of Medicine, and former President of the Medical Student Council (2023–2024).

He is currently in SLUSHMC due to complications, including 𝗰𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀, and is being managed for 𝗵𝘆𝗽𝗼𝗴𝗹𝘆𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮-𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗶𝘇𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗵𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮, 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗮.

As of 05/20/2026, his hospital expenses have already reached ₱𝟭,𝟮𝟭𝟭,𝟲𝟯𝟲.𝟰𝟰 and continue to increase daily due to ICU care, medications, and essential supplies, some of which are not available in SLUSHMC and are being sourced externally. The family has already carried substantial out-of-pocket expenses to sustain his care.

As of 05/21/2026, he has been transferred from the ICU to the regular ward for continued treatment and close monitoring.

In times like this, we stand by our own. Julius has served and trained within this same system as a student leader and now as a postgraduate intern, and it is only fitting that his community stands with him and his family in return.

All proceeds from this appeal will be fully accounted for, transparently documented, and subsequently transferred directly to his family.

Any form of assistance will make a meaningful difference in sustaining his ongoing care. We humbly ask for your prayers, support, and solidarity during this critical time.

Beyond the Shelf: Your Library ranked #76! 📗 🏆

"Pines City Colleges continues to raise the banner of excellence after securing the 396th place worldwide in the prestigious 2026 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) among more than 500 universities and colleges across the globe. This remarkable achievement reflects the institution’s unwavering commitment to innovation, transformative education, student empowerment, and community engagement.

PCC’s journey in the WURI rankings began in 2024 when the institution first entered the global stage and immediately gained recognition by securing the 48th spot out of Top 100 for its Eugenio S. Baltao Scholarship Grant (ESBSG). The recognition highlighted the college’s strong dedication to academic excellence, accessible education, and student welfare, establishing PCC as an institution that prioritizes meaningful opportunities for learners.

Building on this success, PCC further strengthened its international reputation in 2025 after earning dual recognitions in WURI. The institution ranked 82nd under the category SDG-Based Responses to Global Challenges and 88th in Student Support and Engagement through its impactful Medical Fair initiative and student-centered programs. These achievements underscored PCC’s active role in promoting holistic development, sustainability, and community service.

This year, PCC reached another milestone as it secured multiple international recognitions across various WURI categories, showcasing the institution’s innovative programs and advocacies that continue to create significant impact both locally and globally."

𝗣𝗖𝗖 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗹 Pines City Colleges has achieved an exciting milestone, 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟯𝟵𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗪𝗨𝗥𝗜). This is a big step forward for PCC since it first joined the rankings in 2024.

Even more impressive, 𝗣𝗖𝗖 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆. It also earned rankings in other categories, showing its strengths in different areas.

This achievement reflects the hard work of the school’s faculty, students, and staff. It also shows PCC’s strong focus on innovation, leadership, and helping students grow, guided by its belief that education shapes a person, and that holistic learning brings meaningful change in both personal and professional life.

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 1 𝗹 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗨𝗖𝗢𝗔 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁

The accreditation is conducted by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA), a private, voluntary, non-stock, and non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing educational institutions that uphold high standards in academic operations. PACUCOA plays a vital role in identifying schools whose performance and competence merit public and professional recognition, guiding students in selecting quality institutions, and supporting continuous improvement in the education sector.

PCC has previously demonstrated its commitment to quality education. In 2024, the College of Nursing was granted Level I accredited status, while the College of Respiratory Therapy achieved Level II re-accredited status from PACUCOA. Building on these accomplishments, the College of Nursing now aims to elevate its standing to Level II accreditation in 2026. At the same time, the College of Dentistry is taking its first step toward formal recognition by pursuing Level I accreditation.

While the official results of the current evaluation are still pending, Pines City Colleges expressed its sincere appreciation to PACUCOA for its dedication, professionalism, and continued support in strengthening institutional standards. The visitation reflects PCC’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of education and ensuring that its programs meet the evolving needs of students and the professional community.
