𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔-𝗖𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝟰.𝟬 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀

Twenty-one Engineering Technology trainers from TESDA Technology Institutions nationwide successfully completed the five-day Training of Trainers (TOT) on Collaborative Robotics held from May 25–29, 2026, at TESDA-CSITE Main Campus, strengthening their capabilities in robotics, automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies.

Through hands-on learning and expert-led sessions, participants enhanced their competencies in collaborative robotics programming, automation systems, machine vision integration, human-robot interaction, and robotics safety. The training also supports TESDA’s commitment to developing future-ready trainers equipped to prepare learners for technology-driven industries.

As part of the Re-Entry Action Plan (REAP) of TESDA-CSITE trainers who underwent Industry 4.0 training in Singapore, participants are expected to cascade the knowledge and skills gained to their respective institutions, multiplying opportunities for innovation and advanced technical education across the country.

The provincial local government unit (PLGU) of Mountain Province and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority-Cordillera (TESDA-CAR) are partnering to equip job seekers and the youth with language competencies and technical skills to enhance their employability in local and international industries.

Both parties signed a memorandum of agreement on May 20, 2026, for the provision of language training programs in the province through the TESDA-Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (CSITE) Mountain Province Campus in Sabangan, and the extension of financial assistance to qualified beneficiaries. This will enable more residents to pursue skills development and workforce readiness programs.

On 25 May 2026, Ambassador Raymond Balatbat received members of a delegation from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) led by Assistant Executive Director Kevin Briones, together with TESDA-CSITE Caregiving Assessor Vilma Tolarba.

The delegation is in the Kingdom to administer the TESDA Overseas Assessment Program, which evaluates the qualifications of Overseas Filipinos in the Kingdom who are enrolled in various TESDA courses.

Among the technical skills to be assessed by the program are Caregiving, Health Care Services, Barista, and Massage Therapy. The assessment program in Riyadh will run from 26 to 30 May 2026.

The TESDA-Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (CSITE), in partnership with the Provincial Government of Mountain Province, formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on May 20, 2026, at the TESDA-CSITE Conference Hall in Tambingan, Sabangan, for the implementation of language training programs and the extension of financial assistance to qualified beneficiaries.

The partnership aims to equip students, graduates of technical-vocational courses, out-of-school youth, and aspiring workers with language competencies and globally competitive skills for local and overseas employment opportunities.

The initiative reflects the shared commitment of TESDA-CSITE and the Provincial Government of Mountain Province in strengthening workforce development and bringing accessible education and skills training closer to communities.

𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔 𝗗𝗗𝗚 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗼 𝗚𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗜𝗜𝗜 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀

TESDA Deputy Director General for Administration and Innovation Galo B. Glino III paid his first official visit to the Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (CSITE) main campus in Baguio City following the Luzon I Consultation on the Rationalization and Upgrading of Technical Training Institutions into State Polytechnic Institutes.

DDG Glino, who also serves as Chief of Staff of TESDA Director General Jose Francisco “Kiko” Benitez, was welcomed by CSITE Executive Director Daisy C. Bungallon and CSITE Main Campus Administrator Melita Pinic during his visit to the institution’s facilities in Military Cut-Off and Loakan.

As part of the visit, DDG Glino inspected various training facilities and learning areas of the CSITE Main Campus to observe the institution’s programs and ongoing initiatives in technical-vocational education.

He also held a dialogue with TESDA scholars, where students shared how TESDA scholarship programs have helped support their studies and improve their learning experiences. The discussion highlighted the importance of accessible technical education opportunities for learners in the region.

The visit formed part of TESDA’s continuing efforts to strengthen institutional development and improve technical education services for Filipino learners.
