𝗠𝗔𝗬𝗢𝗬𝗔𝗢, 𝗜𝗙𝗨𝗚𝗔𝗢 | DSWD FO CAR provided six Ready-to-Eat Food (RTEF), six Family Food Packs (FFPs), and one set each of sleeping, kitchen, and hygiene kits to one family or six individuals affected by a landslide caused by the continuing rains in Bato-Alatbang , Mayoyao, Ifugao.

The assistance aims to provide immediate relief to the affected family as the DSWD continues to monitor the situation and coordinate with local authorities for further assistance, as needed.

𝗧𝗨𝗕𝗔, 𝗕𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗘𝗧 | Amid the continuous rains affecting the Cordillera, DSWD FO CAR swiftly delivered 30 Ready-to-Eat Food (RTEF) and 18 containers of drinking water (6 liters each) to six families comprising 30 individuals. DSWD FO CAR also provided eight Family Food Packs (FFPs) and four sets each of sleeping, kitchen, family, and hygiene kits to four families comprising 17 individuals staying at the evacuation center.

The affected families are currently taking temporary shelter at the Tagadi Health Center in NHA Tadiangan, Tuba, Benguet, after soil erosion partially damaged their homes. The team also conducted monitoring and assessment of the affected houses to determine their condition and identify their immediate needs.

𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗔𝗢, 𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘 | To augment the needs of families affected by the ongoing weather systems, DSWD FO CAR, through SWAD Mountain Province, provided 29 Family Food Packs to 8 families or 17 individuals who were recently evacuated to three evacuation centers.

The families were evacuated due to the risk of landslide in the area. Following the improvement of weather conditions, they have since returned to their respective homes.

𝗧𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻, 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 | DSWD FO CAR, through SWAD Mountain Province, validated and distributed eight ( 8 ) Family Food Packs and two ( 2 ) Hygiene Kits to two ( 2 ) affected families comprising 13 individuals in Dacudac, Tadian.

Amid the combined effects of the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (SWM) and Tropical Cyclones and , DSWD FO CAR remains on Red Alert and continues to closely monitor affected communities across the region. Its Quick Response Teams remain on duty to ensure immediate action and assistance for families and individuals affected by the weather disturbances.

Kasunod ng agarang tulong na ipinagkaloob noong araw ng insidente sa Shilan, La Trinidad, Benguet, nagpaabot ang DSWD FO CAR ng ₱50,000 burial assistance sa bawat pamilya ng dalawang nasawi sa landslide sa Brgy. Shilan, La Trinidad, Benguet.

Samantala, ang isang nakaligtas na naospital ay pinayuhang makipag-ugnayan sa DSWD para sa iba pang kinakailangang tulong.

Ayon ito kay Marcilen Sotero ng Tublay, Benguet, isang benepisyaryo at Parent Leader ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), na nakatanggap na ang isang beses na P2,000.00 sa ilalim ng DSWD UPLIFT Assistance sa panayam sa kanya kamakailan.

Ang UPLIFT Assistance para sa Group 1 na kinabibilangan ng 4Ps beneficairies ay isang beses na cash assistance na naglalayong makatulong sa mga kwalipikadong benepisyaryo sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na gastusin, kabilang ang pagkain, kabuhayan, at transportasyon.

𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 | Bilang dagdag-tulong sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan, naghatid ang DSWD FO CAR, sa pamamagitan ng SWAD Benguet - City Operations Office, ng 10 Ready-to-Eat Food (RTEF), 4 Family Kits, 4 Kitchen Kits, 4 Sleeping Kits, 4 laminated sacks, at 5 drinking water sa mga apektadong pamilya sa San Luis at Pacdal.

Sa pinakahuling tala, 4 na pamilya o 25 indibidwal ang apektado sa Pacdal, kabilang ang 1 pamilya o 5 indibidwal sa San Luis na kasalukuyang nangangailangan ng agarang tulong.

LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET | Nagsagawa ng welfare check ang DSWD FO CAR, sa pamamagitan ng SWAD Benguet, sa mga internally displaced persons (IDPs) sa Lubas Evacuation Center upang alamin ang kanilang kalagayan at matukoy ang agarang tulong na kanilang kinakailangan.

Sa kasalukuyan, dalawang (2) pamilya o 11 indibidwal ang apektado at pansamantalang nananatili sa evacuation center. Patuloy namang nakikipag-ugnayan ang DSWD FO CAR sa mga lokal na pamahalaan upang matiyak ang agarang pagtugon sa kanilang mga pangangailangan.

𝗗𝗦𝗪𝗗 𝗙𝗢 𝗖𝗔𝗥, 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘆 𝗻𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿

Patuloy ang monitoring at response operations ng DSWD FO CAR sa pinagsamang epekto ng Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (SWM) at Tropical Cyclones Luis at Maymay. Sa kasalukuyan, 133 pamilya o 483 indibidwal mula sa 46 barangay sa Cordillera ang naapektuhan, habang nagpapatuloy ang assessment at validation sa mga lugar na apektado.

Nananatiling handa ang DSWD FO CAR sa anumang augmentation request ng mga LGU, na may ₱107.59 milyon na available relief resources, kabilang ang 88,766 Family Food Packs, 19,624 Non-Food Items, at 9,751 Ready-to-Eat Food para sa agarang pagtugon sa mga nangangailangan.
