Pan-Ashalan means “to learn from”, symbolizing our goal to create a safe and inclusive space for Indigenous youth leaders to learn and develop their capacity as advocates, community leaders, and culture bearers.

In celebration of 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, the theme of this year’s congress is “𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆”.

Organized by the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Baguio City, in partnership with ATOR of IP’s and SIGLAT Youth Innovation Hub, the congress will will feature sessions and workshops on:

📚 Navigating Indigenous Knowledge in the Digital Age
✊ Youth Action for Cordillera Autonomy
⚖️ IP Rights and Justice

The day will be concluded with a Cultural Night to celebrate our shared Indigenous heritage. 🔥

We are inviting Indigenous youth organizations from the City of Baguio to join us. Each organization is invited to have 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 (𝟱) 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 to fully engage in the sessions and workshops. This event is open to all indigenous groups present in Baguio City and is not limited to Cordilleran IP groups.

Mag-ingat, Middle Quezon Hill Barangay! 🌧️

Patuloy ang dala ng na malakas na ulan at hangin. Paalala sa lahat na mag-ingat at unahin ang inyong kaligtasan:

✅ Siguraduhing naka-secure ang mga gamit sa paligid ng bahay.
✅ I charge ang mga telepono upang magamit ito in case of emergency.
✅ Manatili sa loob ng bahay kung hindi kailangang lumabas.
✅ Ihanda ang inyong emergency kits at flashlights.

Kung sakaling may emergency, huwag mag-atubiling tumawag sa inyong mga opisyal ng barangay.

SK Middle Quezon Hill Leaders Recognized at Linggo ng Kabataan 2025

📍Baguio City – Hon. Rayah Jahziel Tayag and Hon. Trisha Lardizabal of the Sangguniang Kabataan Middle Quezon Hill were among the youth leaders recognized during the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2025.

Project Lead 2025, a project from SK Middle Quezon Hill secured the 2nd Runner-Up Award in the Project Pitching competition, showcasing innovative initiatives for youth development.

Hon. Tayag was honored as part of the Top 6 and Below Outstanding Youth Leaders and further acknowledged for her contributions as a Working Committee Member in SK-led activities across the city.

Meanwhile, Hon. Lardizabal received recognition for her organization’s achievement, with the Anxiety and Depression Support Group named among the Top 5 Outstanding Organizations.
