Layunin ng aktibidad na bigyan ng sapat na kaalaman at kahandaan ang mga empleyado sa panahon ng kalamidad, partikular na ang lindol.

𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 || Ngayong 𝙍𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝, maging responsableng pet owner at protektahan ang ating pamilya. Maiiwasan ang rabies kung ito ay agad na maagapan.

Kasalukuyang ipinamamahagi ang ₱20 kada kilo na bigas sa Baguio City Hall ngayong araw, kung saan tinatayang 500 benepisyaryo ang makikinabang. Aabot sa 5,000 kilos ng bigas ang maipamamahagi sa mga vulnerable sector ng lungsod ng Baguio.
Ipinaliwanag ni Genevieve Velicaria-Guevarra na nilalayon ng ahensya na mapalawak pa ang saklaw ng mga makikinabang sa Benteng Bigas Program.
Bago makabili, kinakailangang magparehistro ang mga bibili upang ma-monitor ang pagbili ng bigas. Ang mga kabilang sa vulnerable sector ay maaaring makabili ng hanggang 30 kilo kada buwan, na may maximum na 10 kilo bawat araw. Maaari ring makabili ang mga jeepney driver, farmers, fisherfolk, at IP ng hanggang 10 kilo.
Ang bentahan ay isinasagawa sa Kadiwa Store sa Slaughterhouse Compound, at iaanunsyo pa ang iskedyul ng pagbili.
Samantala, pinagtibay ni Dr. Arlene Sagayo, Regional Technical Director for Research and Regulations ng Department of Agriculture – Cordillera, ang buong suporta ng ahensya sa programa. Ayon sa kanya, ang inisyatibong ito ay hindi lamang para sa mga konsyumer kundi nagsisilbi ring tulay sa pagitan ng mga magsasaka at mamimili upang makamit ang food security.

February 11, 2026 - The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office Cordillera (DA-RFO-CAR) Livestock and Agricultural Program Coordinating Office (APCO) in Baguio, in collaboration with the Baguio City Veterinary and Agriculture Office (CVAO), delivered stingless bee colonies, personal protective equipment (PPE), and housing materials to the Happy Hallow Farmers Association. The event took place at the Happy Hallow Barangay Hall in Baguio City.
