The Commission on Elections of Saint Louis University is an independent constitutional and quasi-judicial body of the Kataas-taasang Sanggunian ng mga Mag-aaral/Supreme Student Council (KASAMA/SSC). Its principal role is to administer, oversee and enforce all laws and regulations relative to the conduct of elections, initiatives, referendums, and recalls within the premises of the university.

[COMELEC MEMORANDUM NO. 05 S. 26-27]

The Saint Louis University Commission on Elections (COMELEC) hereby informs all concerned parties that the release of the Tentative List of Candidates and the Official List of Candidates for the KASAMA/SSC General Elections 2026โ€“2027 has been rescheduled.

The adjustment is made to allow the University Administration to complete its review and approval of the submitted Certificates of Candidacy (COCs), ensuring that all necessary processes are properly completed before the release of the lists.

Petitions seeking to deny due course to or cancel a Certificate of Candidacy may be filed on grounds provided under the Omnibus Election Code, KASAMA/SSC Constitution and By-Laws, and other pertinent acts, rules, and regulations.

For questions, concerns, or clarifications regarding this announcement, concerned parties may send a formal letter through e-mail. Political parties may also relay their queries through their respective point persons.

The Saint Louis University Commission on Elections hereby announces the rescheduling of the release of the Tentative and Official Lists of Candidates for the KASAMA/SSC General Elections 2026โ€“2027, pursuant to the KASAMA/SSC By-Laws of 2018 and the Omnibus Election Code of 2018, to allow sufficient time for the verification of submitted Certificates of Candidacy (COCs) and the completion of the University Administrationโ€™s review and approval.

The Filing of Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for the KASAMA/SSC General Elections AY 2026โ€“2027 will be start today, August 31 up to September 4, 2026.

Aspiring candidates are reminded to complete their filing within the designated schedule. The Google Forms will close promptly at September 4, 4:00 PM. Or you may pass your COC face-to-face at the COMELEC Office. โฐ
