Quezon Hill Proper Barangay was named after First Commonwealth President Manuel L. Quezon. He has a vacation house in the very heart of this barangay. During the Japanese era, there were camps and garrisons used by the Japanese soldiers situated in the barangay. ngay was declared a National Road on 1903. It is one of the oldest roads in the City of Baguio. Other names of the streets within the jurisdiction of the Quezon Hill Proper Barangay are of historical values and significance. The streets were named as follows: First Road (Josefa Escoda Street), Second Road (Pilar Lim Street), Third Road (Sofia De Veyra Street), Mariano Ponce Street and Lieutenant Artiaga Street. Because of the influx of the immigrants coming from different parts of the country and other countries into the barangay, Quezon Hill Proper Barangay is still continuing to plan for the development of the barangay. The barangay was created by virtue of R.A. 3590 as a barrio and further amended by P.D. 557 which was changed the term “Barrio” into “Barangay”. In the year 70’s, the First Barangay Government was organized under the administration of Mr. Gatera, then followed by Mr. Vicente Ayson, Mr. Alejandro Padilla, Mr. Alex Rimando, Engr. Cesar Lapid, Mrs. Leticia Layug (OIC), Mrs. Angelita Padilla and the current, Mrs. Gloria Corazon P. Dalisay. GEOGRAPHY
A large area of which, particularly the upper portion, used to be a vast tract of land filled with Pine Trees, Guavas, Avocados and Bamboo Trees. It is situated at the north western side of the City Proper of Baguio and with a land area of 159,643.80 square meters with hill terrain. It is situated 3 kilometers from the city hall. Its vast tract of land is now considered highly urbanized area. Quezon Hill Proper Barangay has the benefit of the over-view of the city proper of Baguio because it is highly elevated from the main Naguilian Road. POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS
