𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀-𝐂𝐀𝐑 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝟑-𝐢𝐧-𝟏 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐬
BAGUIO CITY, June 1, 2026 – The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority – Cordillera Administrative Region (TESDA-CAR) conducted a 3-in-1 event on June 1, 2026, at the TESDA-CSITE Main Campus, bringing together officials and personnel for the Leadership Turnover Ceremony, Expanded Executive Committee Meeting, and Pasasalamat Program for retiring officials.
The activity commenced with the Leadership Turnover Ceremony, signifying key leadership transitions within the region. Atty. Clefford E. Pascual formally assumed the role of Acting Provincial Director of TESDA Kalinga, succeeding Florence D. Jose. Meanwhile, Engr. Glenn N. Murphy, who currently serves as Acting Regional Director of TESDA-CAR, officially assumed the position of Acting Chief of the Finance and Administrative Services Division (FASD), succeeding Antonio Saldo.
In their messages, the outgoing officials expressed their gratitude for the support and cooperation extended by TESDA personnel and stakeholders throughout their tenure. The incoming officials likewise conveyed their commitment to sustaining organizational gains and further strengthening the delivery of technical vocational education and training (TVET) programs and services in the region.
Following the turnover ceremony, TESDA-CAR convened its Expanded Executive Committee Meeting attended by Provincial Directors and their respective supervising Technical Education and Skills Development (TESD) Specialists, administrators of TESDA Technology Institutions (TTIs), representatives from the Cordillera State Institute of Technical Education (CSITE) Executive Office and campus administrators, officials and personnel from the Finance and Administrative Services Division (FASD), Regional Operations Division (ROD), and the Association of Concerned Employees (ACE).
The meeting served as a venue to discuss priority programs, operational updates, policy directions, and key initiatives aimed at improving organizational performance and ensuring the effective implementation of TESDA programs and services throughout the Cordillera region.
The day concluded with a Pasasalamat Program honoring the dedicated service and significant contributions of retiring TESDA officials, former Ifugao Provincial Director Victor P. Brioso and Supervising TESD Specialist Susana G. Carbonell of the Regional Operations Division.
Messages of appreciation were delivered by colleagues and staff who highlighted the retirees’ years of dedicated service, exemplary leadership, and invaluable contributions to advancing TESDA’s mandate in the region. The tribute recognized their commitment to promoting quality, accessible, and industry-responsive technical vocational education and training for the Cordillerans.
The event underscored TESDA-CAR’s commitment to ensuring leadership continuity, strengthening organizational collaboration, and honoring the contributions of its personnel as it continues to pursue excellence in skills development and workforce empowerment in the region.
