Pan-Ashalan means “to learn from”, symbolizing our goal to create a safe and inclusive space for Indigenous youth leaders to learn and develop their capacity as advocates, community leaders, and culture bearers.

In celebration of 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, the theme of this year’s congress is “𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆”.

Organized by the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Baguio City, in partnership with ATOR of IP’s and SIGLAT Youth Innovation Hub, the congress will will feature sessions and workshops on:

✊ Youth Action for Cordillera Autonomy
⚖️ IP Rights and Justice

The day will be concluded with a Cultural Night to celebrate our shared Indigenous heritage. 🔥

We are inviting Indigenous youth organizations from the City of Baguio to join us. Each organization is invited to have 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 (𝟱) 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 to fully engage in the sessions and workshops. This event is open to all indigenous groups present in Baguio City and is not limited to Cordilleran IP groups.

The DSWD FO CAR is looking for 75 Immersion Outreach Program (IOP) Participants to be deployed in the Province of Benguet and City of Baguio in CAR!
The IOP aims to promote the total development of the out-of-school youth (OSY) with the end goal of instilling a sense of community service and volunteerism for the less privileged. It is an opportunity that will provide life skills learning in the workplace at the same time, earn money to augment their daily sustenance and future school needs.
Criteria:
- 18 to 25 years old at the time of the start of the internship;
- Out-of-School Youth (OSY);
- The family’s monthly income shall not be above the existing regional poverty threshold amounting to Php 13,239.00 (Source: Philippine Statistics Authority); and
- Preferably Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Member.
Documentary Requirements:
-Birth Certificate - PSA or Local Civil Registry Copy;
- Accomplished IOP Application Form that can be downloaded through this link: https://bit.ly/2025IOPApplicationForm; and
- Valid identification card.
The IOP is open to all out of school youth from the indigenous communities, youth with disabilities and other youth from disadvantaged and marginalized sectors.
After accomplishing all the documentary requirements, kindly scan the QR code and fill-out the IOP Registration Form. Applications will be accepted until all slots are filled.

Narito ang mga kalahok na organisasyon, institusyon, at grupo na kabilang sa gaganaping "Baguio-Benguet March Against Corruption and Impunity" bukas.

Kasama ang 121 na grupo, magmamartsa ang mamamayan ng Baguio-Benguet bilang iisang boses. Mananagot ang mga korap at pabaya! Titindig ang sambayanan!

Sumama bukas, 9 AM sa Baguio Convention Center. Magsuot ng itim.

IN PHOTOS | Principal, Teachers, PTA and students who attended the Public Consultation on Smoke Free Ordinance on V**e and Cigarette prevention strategy on Schools and Community yesterday at Venus Parkview hotel.

A special acknowledgment goes to Smoke-Free Baguio, Sir Fritz Brian Dela Peña, and Sir Joshua Daniel Rivera for serving as esteemed speakers, alongside Atty. Betty Lourdes Tabanda. We also commend the Senior High School students of Easter College for presenting their insightful research on smoking cases within schools.

Our gratitude also goes to Hon. Joel A. Alangsab, the proponent of the Smoke-Free Ordinance, for gracing the event and delivering an inspiring message to all attendees.

Lastly, we sincerely thank the current PTA President, Sir Pablo Gomuad, for concluding the event with another motivating and heartfelt message.
