A heartfelt thank you to PICE (Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers) Baguio Chapter for sharing their love and generosity this Yuletide season! 🎄💖 Your support made our Christmas celebration even more meaningful for our beneficiaries.

The school community came together on December 18, 2025 to celebrate the joy of Christmas through a heartwarming activity filled with laughter, gratitude, and shared happiness. The celebration began with an exciting visit to SM Fantasy World, where our beneficiaries experienced the magic and wonder of the season, creating joyful memories and genuine smiles.

The festivities continued with a cheerful McDo Party, which opened with a prayer and was followed by fun-filled games that brought everyone closer together. A heartfelt message from the beneficiaries, delivered by Lorenz, reminded everyone of the true spirit of Christmas—hope, gratitude, and togetherness. The occasion was further enriched by an inspiring message from Engr. Charles Carame, President of PICE Baguio Chapter, who also led the meaningful gift-giving activity from PICE to our beneficiaries. A warm and encouraging message from Annie concluded the program, leaving everyone uplifted and thankful.

This Christmas celebration truly reflected the values of compassion, generosity, and unity, made possible through the support of our partners and volunteers. It was a joyful reminder that the season is best celebrated by sharing love and blessings with one another. ✨

🏅 PQES Learners Shine at Palarong Panlungsod 2025! 🏅

Last November 27, 2025, our Pacday Quinio Elementary School (PQES) learners, together with their dedicated coaches, proudly took part in the Palarong Panlungsod 2025 at the Melvin Jones Grandstand — braving the weather to kick off an unforgettable citywide sports event! 🌧️💪

The program started with an energetic performance by the Baguio City High School Band, setting the perfect vibe for a day full of sportsmanship and excitement. OIC–Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Carmel F. Meris warmly welcomed everyone, followed by Dr. Niño M. Tibangay, who introduced the competing teams and honored the athletes representing their districts.

Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong inspired all participants with a message highlighting courage, respect, fairness, and camaraderie — reminding everyone that the lessons learned matter more than the medals earned. 🏆

Wushu gold medalist Joelle Peñaflor led the Oath of Sportsmanship, urging athletes to play with integrity and fairness. Before officially opening the games, a symbolic ball toss was performed by Dr. Soraya T. Faculo, Mayor Magalong, SGOD Chief Niño M. Tibangay, and CID Chief Juliet C. Sannad.

With this, Dr. Faculo declared Palarong Panlungsod 2025 officially open, marking the start of a thrilling multi-sport competition across the city! 🎉

🌟 PICE Strengthens Support for Young Learners with Heartwarming Meet & Greet! 🌟

Last November 20, 2025, the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) – Baguio Chapter once again proved its commitment to education as it held a special Meet and Greet for its 15 supported learners from Pacday Quinio Elementary School.

Master Teacher Arthur U. Mangili opened the event with heartfelt gratitude to the engineers for their unwavering support through the years. Two graduating learners also shared touching testimonies, looking back on the help they have received from PICE since Grade 3. A parent representative followed with sincere thanks for the continuous financial assistance provided to their children.

In her closing message, School Head Annie Laurie W. Bisquera encouraged parents to remain engaged and supportive of school programs, emphasizing the importance of working together for the learners’ success.

The event was made even more memorable with fun games, snacks, and the early distribution of Christmas gifts, bringing smiles to all the beneficiaries.

🌟 A Spectacular Kickoff to Pacday Quinio’s 42nd Foundation Day! 🌟
“42 Years of Excellence: Inspiring Minds, Shaping Future”

Pacday Quinio proudly opened its 42nd Foundation Anniversary with a vibrant and meaningful back-to-back-to-back celebration—made even more special with the presence of our valued stakeholders, barangay officials, and our dedicated GPTA Officers led by Sir Lambino Pacsayan.

The day began with a solemn and uplifting Mass officiated by Rev. Father Felimon W. William, filling the campus with gratitude and renewed spirit. Pacday Quinio was truly honored to welcome its distinguished guest speaker, Marie Jennifer Luna-Dinangan, the 4th Generation Heir of Pacday Quinio, who delivered an inspiring message rooted in heritage, pride, and excellence.

The festivities continued with the colorful and powerful Pacday Day IPED Presentations, where each grade level showcased their talents and celebrated the richness of our cultural identity—an unforgettable display of artistry, tradition, and unity.

In the afternoon, learners from Grades 4–6 took part in an educational and hands-on session on Fire and Earthquake Drills, expertly facilitated by SFO1 Erwin Quiaoan, FO1 Virgi Gambulao, and FO1 Denison Dug-a. Their guidance empowered students with essential knowledge on safety and disaster preparedness.

SCOUTING SPIRIT ON PARADE!

What a bright and beautiful day in Baguio City as our Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts proudly take to the streets — marching from Upper Session Road all the way to the Baguio Athletic Bowl!

The city is bursting with excitement — drums rolling, flags waving, and cheers echoing through the crowd! Everywhere you look, there’s pride, discipline, and the vibrant energy of our youth leading the way toward a better tomorrow.

This parade is more than just a tradition — it’s a celebration of leadership, unity, and service. Each Scout marching today represents the values that strengthen our community: loyalty, kindness, courage, and commitment to serve.

Scouting teaches our young people to “Be Prepared” — not just for challenges, but for life itself. It molds them into responsible citizens who care for others, respect nature, and work together for the common good.

As we witness their march of purpose and pride, let’s salute our Scouts, leaders, parents, and volunteers who keep the Scouting spirit alive and strong!

Masayang Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika at Pambungad sa Teachers’ Month Celebration!

Noong Setyembre 8, 2025, buong sigla at galak na ipinagdiwang ng Pacday Quinio Elementary School ang Buwan ng Wika, tampok ang mga pagtatanghal na nagpapakita ng pagmamahal sa ating sariling wika at kulturang Pilipino!

Kasabay nito, binuksan din natin ang Teachers’ Month Celebration bilang pagpupugay sa ating mga minamahal na guro—mga huwaran ng talino, sipag, at malasakit sa bawat mag-aaral.

Isang makulay na pagdiriwang ng Wika at Edukasyon, tanda ng ating pagkakaisa at pasasalamat.

Handa, Bata, Handa!

Pacday Quinio Elementary School joins the CY 2025 Third Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) last September 11, 2025!

In support of the government’s disaster preparedness initiatives, our learners, teachers, and staff actively participated in the drill by practicing the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure. This activity strengthens our commitment to safety, resilience, and readiness in times of emergencies.

Mabuhay ang Wika! Mabuhay ang Kabataan!

Sa Pacday Quinio Elementary School, buong puso nating ipinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng Wika 2025 at Linggo ng Kabataan sa ilalim ng temang “Filipino: Wika ng Kapayapaan, Pagkakaisa, at Pagbabago.”

At para gawing mas makulay at mas makabuluhan ang selebrasyon, ang ating mga mag-aaral, katuwang ang Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Project Pride, ay naghahandog ng isang masigla at makulay na Tayaw ng Cordillera!

Ang bawat indak at bawat tunog ng gangsa ay paalala ng ating mayamang kultura at tradisyon — at higit sa lahat, simbolo ng pagkakaisa at sama-samang pagtutol ng kabataan laban sa droga.
Sa kanilang handog na sayaw, ipinapahayag ng mga batang Pacday Quinian na sila ay hindi lamang tagapagmana ng wika at kultura, kundi sila rin ay mga tagapagtanggol ng kinabukasan — malusog, ligtas, at malayo sa bisyo.

Kaya’t tara na, mga ka-Pacday! Panoorin, damhin, at ipagdiwang kasama namin ang galing at talento ng ating mga mag-aaral. Dahil dito sa Pacday Quinio, Bawat Bata ay Bida, Bawat Indak ay May Diwa!

Sa ilalim ng temang "Filipino: Wika ng Kapayapaan, Pagkakaisa, at Pagbabago", ipinapahayag ng ating mga BKD Officers ang kanilang matatag na paninindigan para sa isang kabataang malusog, matatag, at malayo sa bisyo. Sa pamamagitan ng masining na pagpapahayag at makabuluhang talumpati, ipinapakita nila na ang wika at kultura ay mabisang sandata upang maghatid ng kaalaman, magbigay inspirasyon, at mag-udyok ng positibong pagbabago.

Ang proyektong ito ay patunay na sa Pacday Quinio, hindi lang kaalaman ang tinuturo, kundi pati disiplina, kabutihang-asal, at malasakit sa kapwa. Ang mensahe ng ating mag-aaral ay malinaw: "Sa pagkakaisa at tamang kaalaman, matatag nating maipagtatanggol ang kinabukasan laban sa droga." 💪
