Sharpening Young Minds: Third Saturday of Intensive Journalism Training

The pursuit of journalistic excellence continues as our young aspiring journalists undergo their third Saturday of intensive journalism training. With dedication, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to learn, the learners continue to hone their skills in writing, reporting, interviewing, and other essential areas of campus journalism.

The training is spearheaded by Ms. Rona W. Ambaked, Filipino Journalism Adviser, whose guidance and expertise help nurture the learners’ talents and deepen their understanding of responsible and effective journalism.

Week after week, these young journalists are given opportunities to strengthen their craft, develop confidence, and discover the power of words in informing, inspiring, and giving voice to others.

With every training session, they take another step toward becoming competent, responsible, and empowered young journalists—ready to tell stories that matter.

Ninoy Aquino Day 2026

Camp 7 Elementary School reminds all learners and parents that Friday, August 21, 2026 is a non-working holiday in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day.

In line with this, there will be no classes tomorrow, August 21, 2026. Learners are encouraged to use the holiday as an opportunity to rest, spend meaningful time with their families, and reflect on the values of courage, freedom, democracy, and love for country.

Let us also remember the legacy of Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. and his contribution to the nation’s history and democracy.

Regular classes and school activities will resume on the next scheduled school day.

Thank you, and have a meaningful and restful holiday!

Bayanihan for a Safe Return to Face-to-Face Classes

In preparation for the return of face-to-face classes, Mr. Marlon Biliones took the initiative to clean the stairs and pathway at the back of Camp 7 Elementary School.

Recognizing that the area could become slippery and unsafe, especially during rainy days, he voluntarily cleaned the stairs and removed dirt, leaves, and other debris that could cause accidents. His simple yet meaningful effort helps ensure that the pathway will be safer for teachers, learners, and other members of the school community.

This initiative is a beautiful example of the Filipino spirit of bayanihan—coming together and taking action for the safety and well-being of others. As the school prepares to welcome learners back to face-to-face classes, every act of service and concern contributes to creating a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming school environment.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Marlon Biliones for his initiative, generosity, and concern for the Camp 7 Elementary School community. Your simple act of kindness makes a meaningful difference. Together, through bayanihan, we can make our school a safer place for everyone.

General Cleaning After Several Days of Continuous Rain

After several days of continuous and heavy rainfall, Camp 7 Elementary School conducted a general cleaning activity to restore and maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the school environment.

The school personnel, together with parent volunteers who generously extended their time and effort, worked hand in hand in cleaning classrooms, hallways, common areas, and other school facilities. Their collective efforts helped ensure that the school remained clean, organized, and conducive to teaching and learning.

Despite the challenges brought by the persistent rains, the spirit of bayanihan and commitment to the school community remained evident.

Together, we clean. Together, we care. Together, we keep Camp 7 Elementary School safe and ready.
