𝗥𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗟𝗘

Beginning June 1, 2026, all offices of the City Government of Baguio shall strictly observe the regular working schedule from Monday to Friday at 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

The compressed workweek schedule provisions of Executive Order No. 31, s. 2026, and any supplemental guidelines or corrigenda issued in relation thereto, are hereby rescinded and superseded effective June 1.

Last Kapon sa Baguio activity for May 2026 done! 🐾✨

May 28, 2026 - A total of 206, 17 dogs and 189 cats, underwent neutering procedures. The activity was led by the City Veterinary and Agriculture Office-Urban Animal Management Division.

Pet owners started lining up as early as 6:00 AM, and all available slots were filled by 8:00 AM.

The presence of volunteer veterinarians and veterinary students helped our CVAO veterinarians accommodate more pets. However, due to the limited number of veterinarians compared to the number of pets, we had to implement an earlier cutoff.

We sincerely apologize to those who were not accommodated yesterday. Rest assured, we will offer another neutering event on June.

📌 For those who were not included in the slots but completed the pre-registration form, please expect a text message from a CVAO-designated officer or wait for the announcement of spay and neuter and rabies vaccinations schedules for June to be posted on the CVAO FB page.

"Kailangan talagang disiplinahin [ang mga residente]. Marami na kaming hinuhuling mga stray dogs pero kailangan talagang gumalaw din ang ating mga barangay. Hindi naman lahat kakayanin ng CVAO [City Veterinary] natin. Although every time na lumalabas sila, nakakahuli sila ng mga anim hanggang siyam [na a*o] at an average per day, sa isang lugar palang 'yan. Kaya kami nananawagan sa ating mga residente na sana i-practice 'yung tinatawag nating . Sa ating mga barangay, ‘wag ninyong iasa lahat sa local government. Kailangang gumalaw din kayo. Maraming barangay tayo na masipag talaga pagdating sa [paghuli ng] stray dogs. Marami ring barangays na tatamad-tamad diyan… Papaigtingin natin ang paghuli ng stray dogs."

WATCH: Mayor Benjamin Magalong once again reminds pet owners to practice responsible pet ownership, particularly the proper disposal of pet dog waste. He also encourages barangays to help monitor and remind their constituents to ensure that pets are properly cared for and monitored in order to maintain clean and safe communities.
