Pagtatapos ng Panuruang Taon 2025–2026: Pasasalamat sa Panginoon

Idinaos ang makabuluhang pasasalamat sa Panginoon sa St. Joseph the Worker Parish kasama ang Grade 10 completers, Grade 12 graduates (Academic–HUMSS, ADM–RFS), at awardees mula Grade 7–11 ng Happy Hollow National High School.

Pinangunahan ni Rev. Fr. Florito Apalias ang banal na misa noong Marso 30, 2026, 2:00 PM. Ipinahayag niya ang pasasalamat sa gabay ng Panginoon na naging sandigan ng mga mag-aaral sa kanilang pagsusumikap, lalo na sa mga hamon. Di malilimutan ang pagtatapos na ito dahil ito ang unang pangkat ng RFS–ADM graduates, simbolo ng pag-asa at tiyaga.

Ang okasyong ito ay patunay na sa tulong ng Panginoon, maaaring makamtan ang bawat pangarap.

Alumna entrepreneur inspires Happy Hollow National High School graduates: "Your goal is your roadmap"

Happy Hollow National High School celebrated its 4th Commencement Exercises and 11th Completion Rites on March 31, 2026, marking a significant milestone for the Class of 2026. The ceremony highlighted the theme "Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character."

The ceremony officially began with the formal presentation of the candidates by Dwight Milan, the School Head of Happy Hollow National High School. Following the presentation, the students were officially confirmed by Marilyn Api-it, Education Program Supervisor in Filipino, who served as the confirming official for the event.

This year’s ceremony recorded a total of 74 successful learners. The Grade 10 level recorded 34 completers, consisting of 18 male and 16 female students. The Senior High School department also produced a strong batch of graduates across two specialized programs: the Humanities and Social Sciences Strand with 23 graduates (14 male and 9 female) and the Alternative Delivery Mode - Rural Farm School with 17 graduates (9 male and 8 female).

After the confirmation, guest speaker Jonalyn Bernal-Mangili took the stage to inspire the new graduates and completers. A proud member of Batch 2006 and now a successful business owner, Mangili shared three main lessons to guide the students in their next chapters.

First, she explained that having a goal is the essential first step. She noted that while dreams start in the mind, they must be followed by hard work and a commitment to lifelong self-improvement. Second, Mangili spoke about her own life to show the importance of resilience through the word "pursue". She shared how she worked hard in school to help her parents and overcome financial problems, reminding the youth that getting back up after a hard time is the best way to show good character. Finally, she spoke about the power of prayer, highlighting how faith helps in both work and life and encouraging the graduates to trust in God’s guidance.

"Your goal is your roadmap to the future," Mangili stated, reinforcing the institution's message that with a clear plan and a strong heart, the graduates of Happy Hollow National High School are ready to lead their communities with skill and honesty.

Happy Hollow National High School celebrates gender equality in Women’s Month Culmination

Happy Hollow National High School held a culminating program for its Women’s Month celebration on March 25, 2026, focusing on the theme: “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society.”

Rosella Camte-Bahni, Senior Gender and Development Specialist from Baguio City Planning Office, shared two main lessons as the guest speaker. She encouraged the teachers, students, and parents to value their own worth and to take active steps toward self-empowerment.

The program also featured Alban Wanawan, a chaplain from the Philippine Values Education Program, Inc. He spoke about the vital role of faith in daily life and how it helps build a stronger, more supportive community.

A key highlight of the program featured jingle presentations from all grade levels. These student performances utilized music and rhythm to interpret the theme of gender equality and inclusion.

Distrito ng District 2, Namayagpag sa PSA Nelebrasyon ng 36th Civil Registration Month
Namayagpag ang Distrito ng District 2 sa on-the-spot essay writing at poster-making contests ng 36th Civil Registration Month, na inorganisa ng Schools Division Office ng Baguio (SDO-Baguio) at Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) sa DepEd SDO Baguio Training Center noong Pebrero 21, 2026.
Nakabase sa temang “Navigating the Future Together: Advancing CRVS in Shaping the Global and Regional Data Ecosystem,” ang kaganapan ay nagtipon ng 43 mag-aaral na kalahok mula sa iba't ibang secondary schools sa buong division—24 sa essay writing contest at 19 sa poster-making competition.
Sa essay writing contest, si Libayan Batane ng Fort Del Pilar National High School ay lumaban sa ikatlong pwesto. Samantala, sa poster-making contest, si Roselily Manganip ng Happy Hollow National High School ang nakuha ang ikalawang pwesto

HHNHS secures regional slot; Journalists earn honors at DSPC

Happy Hollow National High School (HHNHS) student-journalists earned multiple certificates of recognition and a coveted regional qualification at the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held Feb. 7 at Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School. The delegation’s performance across the English and Filipino categories highlights the school’s growing presence in campus journalism.

A Grade 12 student-journalist led the individual achievements by clinching third place in sports writing English category. This podium finish officially advances her to the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) in Abra, scheduled for March 11-14, 2026. A Grade 10 student-journalist also delivered a strong performance, earning fourth place in pagsulat ng editoryal in the Filipino category.

The school’s official publications also received recognition for their work. The Stallion (English) earned ninth place in news, editorial, sports, and feature pages. Meanwhile, Shalan (Filipino) secured eighth place for pahinang lathalain (feature page).

These achievements reflect the hard work of the student-journalists and the consistent guidance of their school paper advisers.

Pag-upo ng Bagong Punongg**o ng Happy Hollow National High School, Ipinagdiwang; Paglipat ni Ma’am Janet B. Pascua Isinagawa

Tunay na hindi maiiwasan ang pagbabago ng panahon, subalit hindi ito hadlang upang ipagpatuloy ang makabuluhang pamumuno na nagbibigay-inspirasyon at tunay na maipagmamalaki ng paaralan at ng pamayanan.

Ipinagdiwang ng Happy Hollow National High School ang pag-upo ng bagong punongg**o na si G. Dwight B. Milan, na dating nagmula sa Lucban Elementary Integrated School. Bago ang kanyang pagkakatalaga, siya ay nagsilbing koordinator ng ALS, SSES, at mga baitang 2 at 5 sa nasabing paaralan.

Samantala, ang dating punongg**o ng Happy Hollow National High School na si Gng. Janet B. Pascua ay opisyal na nailipat sa Joaquin Smith National High School na matatagpuan sa Asin Road, isang mas malaking paaralan na kanyang pamumunuan.

Ang pormal na pagpapalit at paglipat ng pamunuan ay isinagawa noong Enero 20, 2026. Dinaluhan ito ng mga g**o, kawani ng paaralan, SPTA, SSLG, at mga DepEd Supervisors bilang pagpapakita ng suporta at pasasalamat sa naging ambag ng parehong pinuno sa larangan ng edukasyon.

Nakumpleto ng mga mag-aaral ng Grade 12 ang OAP training sa Lily of the Valley noong Enero 16, 2026

Enero 12-16, 2026 nakumpleto ng mga mag-aaral sa Grade 12 ang kanilang Organic Agriculture Production (OAP) training sa Lily of the Valley. Ito ay nagbigay-pokus sa pagpapahasa ng kanilang praktikal na kasanayan sa pang-agrikultura, na naaayon sa katangian ng paaralan bilang Rural Farm School.

Ang natutunan na kakayahang ito ay tutulong sa pag-aalaga ng kanilang mga taniman at yaman sa Happy Hollow upang patuloy na mapangalagaan ito. Ayon sa mensahe ng punong-g**o na si Janet B. Pascua, mahalagang mapanatili ang mga ito. Dagdag pa rito, nagbigay din ng inspirasyon si Gng. Elisa Laruan tungkol sa kahalagahan ng paghahalaman bilang biyayang bigay ng Panginoon na dapat nating pahalagahan bilang Kanyang nilikha.

Nagbahagi naman ng mensahe ng pasasalamat at repleksyon sina JB Padre at Jomalyn Tabili mula sa Grade 12. Sa kabilang banda, nagbigay ng closing remarks si Bb. Aries L. Busacay, na binigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng work immersion sa paghuhubog ng kanilang kakayahang magtrabaho—hindi lamang sa opisina kundi pati na rin sa labas nito.

Bisita sa Opisina Year 2 sa Paghubog ng mga Mag-aaral

Sa mundo ngayon na puno ng teorikal na kaalaman mula sa mga libro at online resources, ang isang simpleng bisita sa mga opisina ng pamahalaan tulad ng mag-aaral ng HHNHS nagtungo sila sa Baguio City Command Center at Baguio City Hall na nagiging makapangyarihang pamamaraan sa edukasyon. Noong Enero 8 at 9, 22 mag-aaral ng Grade 12 at 10 mamahayag ng paaralan ay hindi lamang naglakad-lakad sa mga koridor ng City Hall kundi nagkaroon rin ng pagkakataon na pumasok sa Baguio City Command Center. Kasama ang mga g**o na sina Aries L. Busacay at Melanie L. Falicao upang i-explore ang mga transaksyon at operasyon ng mga opisina.

Ang Bisita Opisina Year 2 ay hindi lamang pagbisita kundi isang hakbang tungo sa mas responsable at handang mag-aaral. Ito ang uri ng edukasyon na nagdudulot ng tunay na pagbabago.

HHNHS alumna Lexa Sianen excels in Asian Youth Para Games

Lexa Sianen, a proud alumna of Happy Hollow National High School (HHNHS), made the nation proud after securing a silver medal in the Women's Javelin Throw competition of the Asian Youth Para Games, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on December 9-14.

Sianen is no stranger to dominating the field. She previously won triple gold medals for HHNHS at the Philippine National Para Games (PNPG) during her high school years, establishing a strong foundation of domestic success.

Building on that momentum, Sianen delivered a stellar performance on the Asian stage in the combined F46 and F64 categories, showcasing remarkable consistency and power.

The competition culminated in her fifth and best throw, where she launched the javelin a distance of 19.63 meters. This impressive mark was enough to cement her second-place finish on the podium.

Her continued success brings significant recognition not only to her alma mater but also to the entire Philippine para-sports community.
