Hindi matutumbasan ng anumang bagay ang tulong ninyo. Pagpalain po kayo ng Panginoon!

📢Pormal na Pagpapalit ng Pamunuan ng SSLG sa Happy Hollow National High School

Matagumpay na isinagawa ang pagpapalit ng pamunuan ng Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) ng Happy Hollow National High School para sa Taong Panuruan 2026–2027 kasunod ng flag ceremony noong Hunyo 15.

Sa pangunguna ng Punongg**ong si Dwight B. Milan, nanumpa ang mga bagong halal na opisyal sa pamumuno ni Kynsha L. Wansi bilang bagong pangulo ng SSLG, na pormal na humalili kay Jammellert C. Cueto, pangulo para sa Taong Panuruan 2025–2026.

Sa kanyang talumpati, nagpahayag si Cueto ng taos-pusong pasasalamat sa mga kapwa opisyal, punongg**o, g**o, at mag-aaral na naging katuwang niya sa matagumpay na pagpapatupad ng mga programa ng SSLG. Kinilala rin niya ang naging paggabay ng dating SSLG adviser na si Sir Quezon G. Estigoy.

Ipinakilala naman si Sir Jayvee L. Lee bilang bagong SSLG adviser na gagabay sa mga bagong lider ng paaralan.

Nangako ang mga bagong opisyal na gagampanan ang kanilang mga tungkulin nang may katapatan, integridad, at pananagutan. Binigyang-diin din ng bagong pangulo ang kahalagahan ng pagkakaisa, aktibong pakikilahok, at bukas na pamumuno para sa kapakanan ng buong komunidad ng paaralan.

Nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon ang kanilang pangako ng tapat, bukas, at makabuluhang paglilingkod para sa bawat mag-aaral.

HHNHS faculty unites for school-wide reading, math assessments

In a synchronized effort to evaluate and support student academic readiness, faculty members of Happy Hollow National High School (HHNHS) successfully conducted school-wide literacy and numeracy assessments during the opening block from June 8 to 11, 2026.

Eight teachers spearheaded the implementation of the Philippine Informal Reading Inventory (Phil-IRI), administering both group screening tests and intensive individual reading assessments in English and Filipino to junior high school students. The targeted diagnostic aimed to pinpoint specific learning gaps and gauge the reading profiles of the students as the new instructional cycle begins.

Simultaneously, three teachers focused on structural numeracy and advanced literacy skills. They administered the Rapid Math Assessment to junior high school learners, while concurrently running tailored literacy and numeracy diagnostic tests for senior high school students.

The collaborative, multi-day assessment reflects HHNHS’s proactive commitment to data-driven instruction, ensuring that no student is left behind as the school designs its academic recovery and intervention strategies for the year.

Police trainees equip HHNHS students with safety, life-saving skills

Students of Happy Hollow National High School went beyond the classroom on June 9, trading their usual lessons for essential life skills during a community immersion program at the Happy Hollow Barangay Gymnasium.

The special session was conducted by the police trainees of the Public Safety Basic Recruit Course Batch 2025-01 "Sindigmayan" Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group, who designed the initiative to foster a safer, more informed youth community.

The trainees opened the day with awareness lectures aimed at protecting students both online and offline, tackling anti-bullying, the Safe Spaces Act, laws protecting women and children, and the dangers of illegal drugs.

The gymnasium transformed into an interactive training ground as the future police officers taught the learners critical first-aid skills, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and basic bandaging. To ensure the lessons stuck, students performed return demonstrations under the guidance of the trainees. The energy escalated during a lively self-defense session, where students learned the basics of Arnis.

To wrap up the productive day, the trainees extended a helping hand through simple community service, offering free haircuts to male students in attendance.

Bayanihan spirit ignites Day 3 of Brigada Eskwela at HHNHS

Teachers, parents, students, and volunteers kept the momentum going at Happy Hollow National High School (HHNHS) as they worked together for Day 3 of Brigada Eskwela on June 3.

Volunteers completed maintenance and beautification projects, which included improving the nursery, painting facilities, cleaning pathways, and composting. They also shredded papers and restructured the library and the faculty room.

With the school opening approaching, HHNHS showed that community teamwork could transform the campus into a cleaner, more organized, and better learning environment for the students.
