Happy Hollow Elementary School Holds Successful Joint BSP and GSP Investiture and Camp
Happy Hollow Elementary School proudly conducted its joint Boy Scout and Girl Scout Investiture Ceremony on November 21, 2024, marking a meaningful milestone for newly invested scouts. After the solemn pinning rites and pledge of commitment, the event continued with an overnight camping that strengthened camaraderie and teamwork among participants.
The camp officially opened with an exciting bonfire activity, where scouts showcased their unity and spirit. The night grew livelier as different teams delivered powerful shouts and yells, followed by the Scout Pageant. After a display of confidence and talent, Hebron Sao-Ang and Jeshana Lomyog were crowned Mr. and Ms. Scout 2025.
On November 22, the campers started early with a morning exercise to energize the group, followed by a cooking activity that promoted teamwork and practical skills. They then participated in a community clean-up along the barangay road, demonstrating responsibility and service to the communityโone of scoutingโs core values.
After the clean-up, the scouts went back to school for a series of lectures on Anti-Terrorism, Anti-Drug Abuse, and OSAEC (Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children), aiming to raise awareness and empower young learners to stay safe and informed.
The school is deeply grateful for the unwavering support of the parents, PTA officers, barangay officials and BPAT, teachers and staff of assistance and to everyone who helped ensure the success and safety of the activity.
The two-day event successfully fostered leadership, discipline, awareness, and camaraderieโvalues at the heart of scouting. Happy Hollow Elementary School continues to support programs that mold young learners into responsible and resilient future leaders.
