Shaping the Future of Education: MNHS Joins Hybrid Regional Orientation for SY 2026-2027

To stay at the forefront of educational innovation, the dedicated educators of Magsaysay National High School participated in the Hybrid Regional Orientation on the Learning Strand Systems Policies held last May 12, 2026.

This comprehensive session focused on the upcoming reforms designed to create a more resilient, flexible, and learner-centered environment for the School Year 2026-2027. By understanding how these reforms are interconnected, our teachers are better equipped to focus on what matters most: high-quality teaching and student success.

🔑 Key Policy Pillars Discussed:
The orientation deep-dived into six critical areas of the basic education framework:
1. Three-Term School Calendar: Adjusting our academic rhythm to better manage learning competencies and breaks.
2. Enhanced Lesson Planning: Streamlining preparation to allow teachers more time for classroom interaction.
3. Classroom Assessment & Grading System: Refining how we measure and reward student progress to ensure fairness and accuracy.
4. Flexible Learning Programs: Strengthening our ability to deliver education through various modalities.
5. Education in Emergencies: Building robust protocols to ensure learning never stops, even in the face of unforeseen challenges.
6. Strengthened SHS & Work Immersion: Enhancing the Senior High School program to better bridge the gap between academics and real-world career readiness.

💡 Collaboration in Action
Beyond the lectures, the afternoon was dedicated to Departmental Workshops. Our teachers gathered by subject area to:
• Reflect on the practical application of these new guidelines.
• Collaborate on departmental goals for the next school year.
• Clarify technicalities through productive Q&A sessions.

At Magsaysay National High School, we don’t just follow policies—we internalize them to better serve our community. We are excited and ready to embrace the changes that SY 2026-2027 will bring! 🎓✨

📘 Empowering Excellence: ARAL Program Orientation 2026

Today marks a significant step toward academic mastery! We officially kicked off the ARAL Program orientation right here at the MNHS school grounds for our Grade 7 to 12 learners.
This initiative is designed to bridge learning gaps and sharpen the competitive edge of our students in two core pillars of education: English and Mathematics. Through targeted tutoring and dedicated mentorship, we are committed to turning challenges into triumphs.

🌟 Leadership & Collaboration
The success of this program is fueled by a united community:
• Led by: Ma’am Lydia Dalidis (Master Teacher I, English Department)
• Support Group: Our hardworking ARAL Tutors
• Guidance: Ma’am Marilou T. Gomeyac (School Principal)
• Partnership: Our supportive parents, whose involvement is key to every learner’s success.

🎯 What’s in Store?
During the orientation, we tackled:
1. Schedules: Structured sessions designed to fit the learners' academic calendar.
2. Objectives & Goals: Focused intervention to improve literacy and numeracy across all grade levels.
3. Benefits: Beyond better grades, students gain confidence, critical thinking skills, and personalized support in English and Math.

"Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students, and enthusiastic parents."

Let’s make this school year a milestone for growth! ✍️➕🔢
