🌍✨ CLEAN & GREEN PROGRAM – SEPTEMBER 19 (3:30 PM – 4:00 PM) ✨🌍

In celebration of National Clean-Up Day (Proclamation No. 244), we invite all Senior High School learners to join our Clean and Green Program tomorrow, September 19 during your Homeroom Guidance period. 🧹🌱

✅ Focus Areas:

- Classrooms (board, windows, corridor area)
- Hallways
- Adjacent staircases

🔑 Reminders:

-Bring your own cleaning materials (broom, dustpan, rag, etc.)
-Wear comfortable clothes for cleaning
-Practice 5S principles – bring home unnecessary items

📸 Learners who submit photo documentation + a short narrative report will receive a Certificate of Participation!

The activity will be assisted by YES-O officers, SSLG, and BSP to ensure smooth monitoring.

Together, let’s take action for a cleaner, greener, and healthier school environment! 💚

‎✨ What does “Iwaras” mean?
‎In Ilocano, iwaras means “to spread, share, or pass around.” This perfectly represents our mission of spreading sustainable habits and inspiring others to take action for the environment.

Kindly respect our public parks and the efforts to improve our green spaces. Thus, the public is advised to dispose their garbage properly to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in public parks and public spaces.

🧹 Clean As You Go (CLAYGO) Ordinance Now in Effect!
Pursuant to Ordinance No. 18, Series of 2024, the City Government reminds all food establishments and the general public that the Clean As You Go (CLAYGO) policy is now strictly implemented.

🍽️ This ordinance requires all restaurants, fast food chains, cafeterias, coffee shops, canteens, and similar food establishments to ensure that customers clean their dining areas after eating.

🗑️ All business owners and managers are also required to provide at least three (3) waste bins for:

Biodegradable

Non-biodegradable

Recyclable materials

This is in line with Ordinance No. 16, Series of 2006 on Solid Waste Management.

🚫 Penalties for Non-Compliance:

1st Offense: ₱500

2nd Offense: ₱1,000

3rd Offense: ₱2,000

✅ 3rd offense: ₱5,000

But don’t worry — you won’t need to pay a single peso if you join us in making simple swaps! 🌿💪

♻️ Bring your own eco-bag — make it stylish! 👜
♻️ Carry a reusable tumbler — decorate it with stickers! 🥤
