Officials of the Commission on Elections Cordillera Administrative Region (COMELEC CAR) were out in full force as they faced the final test toward achieving another milestoneโthe PRIME HRM Bronze Award.
The group, headed by Regional Election Director Atty. Julius D. Torres and Assistant Regional Election Director Atty. Vanessa M. Roncal, underwent an onsite assessment to validate their practices in Learning and Development (L&D) and Rewards and Recognition (R&R) , completing the requirements for the conferment of the Bronze Award.
Last year, COMELEC CAR underwent an onsite assessment to validate its practices in Recruitment, Selection and Placement (RSP) , and Performance Management (PM) , which led to the conferment of its Accreditation Award.
The onsite assessments were facilitated by the Civil Service Commission Cordillera Administrative Region through its Policies and Systems Evaluation Division. This is the โtell-meโ part of the assessment, where members of the different HRM committees, together with supervisors, are interviewed to ensure actual implementation and verify their involvement in HR policies and processes.
Following the onsite assessment, a narrative report and recommendation will be submitted to the Civil Service Commission Central Office for another round of review and validation based on the submitted evidence.
If found to have passed and complied with all indicators, the Commission will issue a resolution granting the Bronze Award. This would make COMELEC CAR the first regional office of COMELEC to receive the Bronze Awardโa feat worth emulating.
