Dear UBians,

We would like to inform everyone that the University of Baguio has recently subscribed to Knimbus, a digital library and research platform designed to enhance access to academic resources.

Some members of the UB community may have received an e-mail from Knimbus regarding account access or registration. Please be advised that integration with the university’s systems is still ongoing, and the platform is currently in its pilot testing phase.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we complete the set-up process. Further updates and official access instructions will be provided once the integration is fully operational.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support as we strive to improve the University of Baguio Library’s digital services.

As a long-standing tradition, Silew continues to highlight the programs, activities, and services of the library, ensuring that students, faculty, and staff remain updated on how the library supports academic success, research, and lifelong learning. 📖✨

💡 This issue also features research, reflections, and insights that foster education, sustainability, and community empowerment—anchored on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities & Communities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals). 🌍

With every release, Silew truly lives up to its name as a torch of knowledge, illuminating the library’s vital role in cultivating critical thinking, advancing literacy, and promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration within the UB community. 🔥
