𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗘𝗦, 𝗡𝗢 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧!

Emergencies may disrupt classrooms, but they should never stop a child’s opportunity to learn. Through the Department of Education (DepEd) Learning Continuity Framework (DepEd Order No. 014, s. 2026), schools respond with a 4-Level Color System that places safety and well-being at the center of every learning decision:

🟢 HAYO (Continue) > Learning proceeds as normal when conditions are safe.
🟡 HINAY (Ease-in) > Learning slows down and becomes more flexible during minor to moderate disruptions.
🟠 HINGA (Check-in) > Academic demands are reduced to prioritize mental health, well-being, and emotional support.
🔴 HINTO (Stop) > Learning is paused during severe emergencies to protect lives and ensure everyone’s safety.

Because in DepEd, safety comes first, well-being always matters, and learning must continue whenever it is safe to do so.
