This year's theme "๐‘ซ๐’‚๐’Ž๐’ˆ๐’ ๐’๐’ˆ๐’‚ ๐‘ฒ๐’‚๐’Š๐’”๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’‚๐’, ๐‘ท๐’‚๐’๐’‚๐’ˆ๐’‰๐’Š๐’–๐’”๐’‚ ๐’š๐’‚๐’๐’ˆ ๐‘บ๐’Š๐’๐’–๐’ˆ๐’…๐’‚๐’", highlights our shared vision for a greener future. The activity was held at the Municipal Demo Farm, located in Sitio Lanipga, Barangay Batiano, Baganga, Davao Oriental.

Earlier today, September 20, 2025, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Baganga, spearheaded by our ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐š๐ฅ ๐Œ๐š๐ฒ๐จ๐ซ ๐‡๐จ๐ง. ๐‹๐š๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ง๐จ ๐. ๐“๐š๐ฒ๐š, ๐‚๐๐€, through its Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), conducted a Synchronized Coastal Clean-up Drive Activity in 11 coastal Barangays. This initiative was held in observance of International Coastal Clean-up Day with the theme โ€œ๐˜พ๐™ก๐™š๐™–๐™ฃ ๐™Ž๐™š๐™–๐™จ ๐™–๐™œ๐™–๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™จ๐™ฉ ๐˜พ๐™ก๐™ž๐™ข๐™–๐™ฉ๐™š ๐˜พ๐™ง๐™ž๐™จ๐™ž๐™จ, ๐™๐™–๐™ฎ๐™ค ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™Ž๐™ค๐™ก๐™ช๐™จ๐™ฎ๐™ค๐™ฃโ€, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 470, and is aligned with Presidential Proclamation No. 244, which declares the month of September as National Clean-up Month.

Following the CEPA, ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ง ๐’๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐†๐ซ๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ takes place to identify and clarify the boundaries of permittees.

This activity aims to ensure that all stakeholders are fully informed and empowered regarding environmental regulations and responsibilities associated with Sand and Gravel operations.

By promoting openness and shared responsibility, MENRO assures that all stakeholders are actively engaging to advocate a sustainable sand and gravel operation while fortifying environmental laws and ensuring a regulation to conserve and protect our natural resources.

On April 22, 2025, the Local Government Unit of Baganga spearheaded by our ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐š๐ฅ ๐Œ๐š๐ฒ๐จ๐ซ, ๐‡๐จ๐ง. ๐‘๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ๐ ๐•. ๐‹๐š๐ซ๐š, through its Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, organized a Coastal Clean-up Drive Activity at Barangay Central, Baganga, Davao Oriental. This is in observance of Earth Day with this yearโ€™s theme "๐™Š๐™ช๐™ง ๐™‹๐™ค๐™ฌ๐™š๐™ง, ๐™Š๐™ช๐™ง ๐™‹๐™ก๐™–๐™ฃ๐™š๐™ฉ, an annual event every April 22nd to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It was participated by various LGU Baganga offices, National Agencies and Organizations.
