𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: On 18 August 2026, CDR JORIM R PADAMA MC PCG (ASC), Officer-in-Charge, MEDFAS PCG Academy, attended the Farewell Visit of BGEN FRANCISCO DOMINGO R FERNANDEZ PN (M) (GSC), Chief, AFP Command Center, at the Command and Admiral Staff College (CASC), National Government Administrative Center, New Clark City, Capas, Tarlac.

The activity featured a Guest Book Signing and Facility Tour as part of BGEN FERNANDEZ PN (M) (GSC) official engagements prior to his retirement. It provided an opportunity to honor his distinguished years of service, recognize his valuable contributions to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and strengthen institutional linkages between the AFP and the PCG.

The farewell visit also served as an avenue for BGEN FERNANDEZ PN (M) (GSC) to interact with CASC personnel and student officers, share his leadership experiences and professional insights gained throughout his military career, and foster continued camaraderie among members of the uniformed services.

CDR JORIM R PADAMA MC PCG (ASC), who also serves as Medical Officer at CASC and member of CGOSEC Class 03-2024, was among those invited to participate in the activity. His participation further highlighted the strong bond of camaraderie and professional service established during his tenure at the institution.

𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐇𝐘𝐋𝐀𝐗𝐈𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐃𝐄𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐘𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐄 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐏 (𝐃𝐑𝐆) 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐂𝐆 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐘

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: In anticipation and preparation for the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the Medical First Aid Station Philippine Coast Guard Academy (MEDFAS PCG Academy), under the supervision of CDR JORIM R PADAMA MC PCG (ASC), conducted the distribution of prophylactic medicine to personnel detailed as the Deployable Response Group (DRG) of the PCG Academy, aboard PSALM, Nuclear Power Village, Bagac, Bataan.

The initiative is part of Coast Guard Medical Service's proactive health preparedness measures to help safeguard the health and operational readiness of personnel who may be deployed during adverse weather conditions and monsoon-related emergencies. The distributed medicines were provided as a preventive measure for personnel at risk of exposure to contaminated floodwater, particularly against Leptospirosis. Through timely medical support and preventive measures, MEDFAS PCG Academy remains committed to keeping PCG personnel healthy, protected, and mission-ready.

𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐅𝐀𝐒 𝐏𝐂𝐆 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐘 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐓𝐒 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: Through the generous support of the Coast Guard Logistics Systems Command (CGLSC), the Medical First Aid Station of the PCG Academy (MEDFAS PCG Academy), under the guidance of CDR JORIM R PADAMA MC PCG (ASC), successfully distributed 182 bottles of cough medicine to 91 members of the PCG Academy community and tenant units stationed at PSALM Nuclear Power Village in Bagac, Bataan.

This initiative reflects MEDFAS PCG Academy’s ongoing commitment to promoting the health, well-being, and preventive care of Coast Guard personnel, their families, and the broader community they serve.

MEDFAS PCG Academy expresses sincere appreciation to the Coast Guard Logistics Systems Command (CGLSC) for the donation and to the Coast Guard Medical Service (CGMED) for facilitating the medicine allocation. With this continued collaboration, MEDFAS PCG Academy remains dedicated to providing accessible healthcare services and supporting preventive health efforts for the entire PCG community.
