Today, the Teacher Education Society proudly commemorates the 165th birth anniversary of π·π‘Ÿ. π½π‘œπ‘ π‘’Μ π‘ƒπ‘Ÿπ‘œπ‘‘π‘Žπ‘π‘–π‘œ π‘…π‘–π‘§π‘Žπ‘™ π‘€π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘π‘Žπ‘‘π‘œ 𝑦 π΄π‘™π‘œπ‘›π‘ π‘œ π‘…π‘’π‘Žπ‘™π‘œπ‘›π‘‘π‘Ž, the Philippines’ National Hero and the brilliant mind behind Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo.

His courage was not wielded through guns or weapons of war, but through the power of his words and ideas. Through his writings, Rizal awakened the Filipino spirit, inspired patriotism, and paved the way for the nation’s quest for freedom and justice.

As we commemorate Independence Day, we proudly present a collection of short films created by students from the Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English and Mathematics. Through their creativity, dedication, and talent, they vividly re-enacted significant events from the life of our national hero, JosΓ© Rizal.

These performances not only showcase the students' artistic abilities but also deepen our appreciation of Rizal’s sacrifices, ideals, and contributions to the nation's struggle for freedom.

This project is presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements in the Life and Works of Rizal course under the guidance of Ms. Crystalle Mae A. Genson, LPT, and Mr. Peter Mathew Emanuel Oliveros, LPT.
