MGA KINAKAILANGAN:
1. Siguraduhin na ang inyong mga alagang aso at pusa ay malusog—walang pagsusuka, LBM, muta, sipon, o anumang sakit.
2. Ang aso at/o pusa ay dapat may edad na tatlong (3) buwan pataas.
3. Kung mayroon, dalhin ang Vaccination Card ng inyong aso o pusa.
4. Ang mga alagang hayop ay dapat nakatali o nasa carrier para sa kanilang kaligtasan.
5. Siguraduhing malinis o napaliguan ang inyong aso at/o pusa bago dalhin sa pagbabakuna.
6. Ang may-ari ng alagang hayop ay dapat residente ng Bacoor. Magdala ng Valid ID na may address bilang patunay.
7. Mangyaring magdala ng plastic para sa maayos na pagtatapon ng dumi ng inyong alagang aso at/o pusa.

🐾 UPDATE ON THE 24 DOGS FROM BARANGAY HABAY 2 🐾

We are happy to share some wonderful news about the 24 dogs impounded from Barangay Habay 2.

All 24 dogs have found new homes! ❤️ Each one was adopted by a different individual, with the required adoption fees paid. All the dogs were also vaccinated against Rabies before being released to their new families.

We are truly grateful to everyone who opened their hearts and homes to these dogs. Your compassion and willingness to give them a second chance make a meaningful difference in their lives. 🐶❤️

OFFICIAL CLARIFICATION: 24 DOGS FROM BARANGAY HABAY 2

The Office of Veterinary Services would like to clarify the information circulating on social media regarding the 24 dogs impounded from Barangay Habay 2 on September 18, 2026, following a complaint involving two persons reportedly bitten by stray dogs in the area.

The dogs were brought to the City Pound, where they are being properly cared for, fed, monitored, and provided appropriate veterinary attention.

Under City Ordinance No. 19, Series of 2012, and applicable laws on rabies control and animal welfare, impounded dogs are given the prescribed period for redemption by their owners or adoption by responsible individuals or organizations.

👉 These dogs do not need to be “rescued” from the City Pound. They need responsible adopters.

Dogs that are healthy and fit for vaccination will be vaccinated. Dogs that are sick or apparently unhealthy will first be treated and stabilized before vaccination, as vaccination of an unhealthy animal may result in adverse effects and may not provide adequate protection.

A CLARIFICATION ON THE ₱300 ADOPTION FEE

The ₱300 adoption fee is not a redemption fee.

• Redemption – applies when an owner claims his/her impounded dog.
• Adoption – applies to dogs without owners. Upon proper adoption, the adopter becomes the legitimate owner of the dog.

The adoption fee is provided under City Ordinance No. 19, Series of 2012.

As of September 21, 2026, eleven (11) of the 24 dogs have already been adopted. We have also been informed that the remaining dogs are expected to be adopted by the same group.

We respectfully ask everyone to verify the facts and coordinate with the Office of Veterinary Services before posting or sharing information. Please avoid captions or statements that may cause unnecessary alarm or spread misinformation.

If you are an individual, organization, or animal-welfare group interested in adopting, we welcome and encourage responsible adoption.
