On June 4, 2026, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Pampanga, in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Pampanga, the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Sto. Tomas, and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Sto. Tomas, Pampanga, successfully conducted a Sustainable Livelihood Training on Meat Processing and Entrepreneurship Seminar for solo parents.
As part of the activity, Aldrey Pinlac, Negosyo Center Trade and Industry Development Analyst, and Eman Jon M. Timbang, Business Counselor, facilitated the Business Opportunities Seminar, where participants gained practical insights on identifying business opportunities, developing an entrepreneurial mindset, and exploring potential livelihood ventures that can be transformed into viable enterprises.
This initiative reflects the shared commitment of the partner agencies to empower solo parents through skills development and entrepreneurship, fostering self-reliance, strengthening economic resilience, and creating pathways toward a more secure and sustainable future for their families.
Together, opportunities were created, growth was inspired, and stronger communities were built through livelihood development and entrepreneurship.
