It provides a broader outlook on potential weather disturbances but lacks the short-term accuracy of π‡πžπšπ―π² π‘πšπ’π§πŸπšπ₯π₯ π–πšπ«π§π’π§π π¬. 24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook

Up to rough seas over the following coastal waters:
β€’ Up to 3.5 m: The seaboards of Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and Zambales; the northern and western seaboards of Babuyan Islands; the western seaboard of Pangasinan.
β€’ Up to 3.0 m: The seaboard of Lubang Islands; the western seaboard of northern La Union, Bataan, northern Occidental Mindoro, and Kalayaan Islands.
β€’ Mariners of small seacrafts, including all types of motorbancas, are advised not to venture out to sea under
these conditions, especially if inexperienced or operating ill-equipped vessels.
Up to moderate seas over the following coastal waters:
β€’ Up to 2.5 m: The western seaboards of Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, northern Palawan including Calamian Islands; the eastern seaboard of Davao Oriental; the remaining seaboards of La Union and Kalayaan Islands.
β€’ Up to 2.0 m: The seaboards of Isabela and Surigao del Sur; the southern seaboards of Cuyo Islands, Antique, Iloilo, and Guimaras; the western seaboard of Negros Occidental; the remaining western seaboard of mainland Palawan.
β€’ Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions.
Other coastal waters have forecast wave heights of less than 2.0 m.

TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
β€’ It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall and severe winds may still be experienced in localities outside the landfall point and the forecast confidence cone. Refer to β€œOther Hazards affecting Land Areas” for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone.
β€’ PILANDOK is forecast to continue moving west northwestward from today until tomorrow (30 August) before turning northwestward to north northwestward for the remaining of the forecast period. This tropical cyclone is less likely to make landfall over the country and will remain far from the Philippine landmass.
β€’ PILANDOK is expected to be a short-lived tropical cyclone and is forecast to remain a tropical depression throughout the forecast period before weakening into a remnant low over the Philippine Sea south of the southern islands of Japan on Tuesday (01 September).

Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measures to protect life and property. Persons living in areas identified to be highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards are advised to follow evacuation and other instructions from local officials. For heavy rainfall warnings, thunderstorm/rainfall advisories, and other severe weather information specific to your area, please monitor products issued by your local PAGASA Regional Services Division.
