Barangay Alijis Restores Artesian Wells at Purok Mainuswagon

The Barangay Alijis General Services Team has successfully repaired the artesian wells in Purok Mainuswagon. The work was supervised by Kagawad Wilfredo Buyco to make sure residents get reliable water supply.

This project was made possible with the support and leadership of Barangay Captain Donny De La Vega. Fixed and working properly, the wells now provide clean water that helps keep families healthy and makes daily life easier.

On May 29, 2026, Barangay Alijis successfully conducted a clean-up drive at Purok Celita. The activity focused on clearing accumulated garbage along the roadside, as well as trimming overgrown grass and removing vegetation obstructing the road perimeter, to ensure cleaner surroundings, better traffic flow, and improved safety and sanitation for all residents in the area.

First Day of June: Flag Ceremony at Barangay Alijis

This morning, Monday, June 1, 2026, Barangay Alijis held its regular flag ceremony, led by Barangay Captain Donny De La Vega.

Officials and staff gathered at the covered court. Everyone stood in order, showing respect and unity as we raised our national flag. Captain De La Vega spoke to the crowd, sharing words of guidance, thanks, and a promise to serve the community well in the coming days.

This morning, Barangay Alijis officially turned over the recovered bicycle back to its rightful owner.

The incident happened when the owner went to a sari-sari store, left the bike nearby, and upon returning, found it already missing. Thankfully, Josephine Oray witnessed who took the bike and immediately reported it to the barangay for action.

Thanks to the quick response and effort of Barangay Alijis XO Commander, the bike was recovered and returned without delay.
