As part of the 21st Founding Anniversary of the Northern Negros Natural Park, NNNP staff, partner LGUs, and local communities came together on August 6, 2026 for a Simultaneous Tree Planting Activity and Clean-up Drive. 🌿🧹

More than planting trees and keeping NNNP clean, this collective effort is a powerful reminder that protecting nature is a shared responsibility. 🤝🌏

🌱💚CENRO Cadiz Joins Simultaneous Tree Growing Activity for NNNP's 21st Founding Anniversary🌱💚

CENRO Cadiz participated in the simultaneous tree growing activity on August 6, 2026, in celebration of the 21st Founding Anniversary of the Northern Negros Natural Park (NNNP).

Held at Sitio Sewahon 3, Barangay VF Gustilo, Cadiz City, the activity brought together DENR personnel, local government officials, and stakeholders in support of forest restoration and environmental conservation.

The event was facilitated by the Local Government of Cadiz, through the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (City ENRO), the host of this year's NNNP Founding Anniversary celebration.

🎬🌿 Wikang Makakalikasan, Tampok ang mga Kalahok sa Eco Reel Challenge! 🇵🇭

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026, tampok ng DENR Negros Island Region ang isa sa mga kalahok sa Eco Reel Challenge, ang Apo Island Protected Landscape and Seascape!

Bawat salita, bawat kuwento, at bawat eksena ay nagpapaalala na ang tunay na pagmamahal sa kalikasan ay nagsisimula sa ating mga puso, naipapahayag sa ating wika, at naisasabuhay sa ating mga kilos.

Patuloy nating ipagdiwang ang yaman ng ating kultura at wikang Filipino habang sama-sama nating isinusulong ang pangangalaga sa ating kapaligiran para sa kasalukuyan at sa mga susunod pang salinlahi.

The Northern Negros Natural Park (NNNP) marks its 21st Founding Anniversary on August 11 to 15, 2026 in Cadiz City with this year's theme: “Let Us Preserve and Conserve Our Natural Resources.”

NNNP, together with its 11 partner LGUs of Cadiz, Sagay, San Carlos, Silay, Talisay, Victorias, Calatrava, Don Salvador Benedicto, Murcia, EB Magalona, and Toboso, highlights the importance of collective action in protecting and sustaining our natural environment.

This is our way of thanking everyone who has been part of our journey in protecting one of the country's most treasured marine protected areas.

🎬🌿 Wikang Makakalikasan, Tampok ang mga Nanalo sa Eco Reel Challenge! 🇵🇭

Sa pagpapatuloy ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, ipinagmamalaki ng DENR Negros Island Region ang 3rd Place Winner ng Eco Reel Challenge, ang CENRO Dumaguete!

Sa pamamagitan ng kanilang malikhaing Eco Reel, naipakita ang kahalagahan ng pangangalaga at pagmamahal sa ating likas na yaman.

Patuloy nating ipagdiwang ang ating wika bilang tulay ng pagkakaisa at ang kalikasan bilang yamang dapat nating pangalagaan para sa kasalukuyan at sa mga susunod pang henerasyon.
