𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚 𝙂𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙉𝙂 𝘿𝙄𝙇𝙂 𝘽𝙁𝙋-𝙉𝙄𝙍 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬|The DILG BFP-NIR proudly shares the video message of FCSUPT WILBERTO RICO NEIL A KWAN TIU, Officer-in-Charge, BFP, and FSSUPT GERRY G BERTE, Acting Regional Director of DILG BFP-NIR during the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly hired Fire Officer 1 (FO1). In his message, they welcomed the newest members of the Bureau and reminded them of the profound responsibility that comes with wearing the BFP uniform—one that calls for integrity, discipline, courage, and unwavering dedication to public service.

As they begin their journey as firefighters, may they uphold their oath with honor and remain steadfast in protecting lives, properties, and communities while embodying the core values and ideals of the Bureau of Fire Protection.

𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚 𝙂𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙉𝙂 𝘿𝙄𝙇𝙂 𝘽𝙁𝙋-𝙉𝙄𝙍 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬| The DILG BFP–NIR welcomed its newly appointed Fire Officer 1 personnel during their Oath-Taking Ceremony, marking the beginning of their journey as members of the Bureau through the BFP E-Hire System. The DILG BFP-NIR Regional Director 𝗙𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗬 𝗚 𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗘 that while the E-Hire System promotes a more systematic, transparent, accessible, and merit-based recruitment process, the newly appointed personnel must uphold the highest standards of integrity, discipline, competence, accountability, and genuine public service.

BLOWBAGETS CONDUCTED | August 30, 2026
The Bacolod City “Central” Fire Station successfully conducted the BLOWBAGETS inspection and operational readiness check of emergency response vehicles today, August 30, 2026, headed by FSUPT JENNY MAE C MASIP, City Fire Marshal, under the supervision of FO3 John Robert P Burbano, Shift B Supervisor, together with duty personnel.
The activity aims to ensure the operational preparedness, safety, and functionality of all emergency response vehicles and equipment in line with the Bureau of Fire Protection’s commitment to efficient and immediate public service.
Emergency response vehicles inspected during the activity include:
