LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026
“Empowering the Youth, Building the Future!”

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Calautit, Bacnotan, La Union successfully conducted the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 on July 5, 2026, bringing together the members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan for a meaningful day of learning, participation, leadership, and fun.

The celebration featured the Katipunan ng Kabataan 2nd General Assembly, presentation of the 2026 SK Budget and Financial Report, recognition of Student Beneficiaries for School Year 2026–2027, educational seminars on Republic Act No. 10175, also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and Physical Health and Wellness Talk.

Health kits and gift packs were distributed to out-of-school youth, while fun games strengthened camaraderie and unity. This celebration reflects the SK’s commitment to transparency, empowerment, and holistic development.

Thank you to everyone who joined and made this event meaningful. We believe that an informed, healthy, and actively involved youth is the key to building a stronger and more progressive community.

📜 ANNOUNCEMENT‼️

The SK Council of Barangay Calautit, Bacnotan, La Union will convene its First Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly 2026 on January 18, 2026 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon, in accordance with the mandate of the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 as amended.

This assembly serves as a vital platform for the youth to exercise their rights, participate in governance, and strengthen their role in nation-building.

Following the assembly, there will be Basketball Tryouts for the 2026 Mayor’s Cup Basketball Tournament, open to all interested KK members, ages 15 years old to 30 years old, and a registered voter of the barangay.

This activity aims to foster camaraderie, sportsmanship, and active involvement in community youth programs.

We encourage all members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan to attend and take part in these important events.

BARANGAY ASSEMBLY DAY
2nd Semester for Calendar Year 2025

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Calautit, Bacnotan, La Union headed by Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson Ma. Angela J. Cariaso with Sangguniang Kabataan Members Samantha E. Fernandez, Trixie Jane D. Aday, and Lawrenz A. Madraso joined in the conduct of 2nd Barangay Assesmbly Day last October 26, 2025 at covered court of Barangay Calautit, Bacnotan, La Union.

The SK Chairperson reported their accomplishments, remaining budget, and plans before the year ends. She also shared their Annual Budget for next year amounting to P333, 370.80 and identified their priority projects, programs, and activities.
