There is something sacred in the first morning of a new school year. The sun rises a little brighter, the air feels full of promise, and the sound of young footsteps marching towards the flagpole beats like the hopeful rhythm of the future.

Today, June 8, 2026, the grounds of Cabasan Elementary School came alive once more as our dear teachers, staff, and beloved learners stood side by side for the First Flag Ceremony of School Year 2026-2027.

Under the clear morning sky, with right hands placed over hopeful hearts, we sang _Lupang Hinirang_ not just as a routine, but as a vow. A vow that in this school year, we will DREAM BIGGER, LEARN DEEPER, and ACHIEVE GREATER— together.

To see our Kinder pupils standing tall for their very first flag ceremony, our Grade 6 learners lead with pride, and our dedicated teachers in their smiles and complete uniform.

To our Cabasan learners: May every flag ceremony this year remind you that you are part of something bigger than yourself. To Cabasan Es Staff: Thank you for being the first to arrive and the last to leave, just to make mornings like this possible.

Welcome back to school, Cabasan ES family! The journey of S.Y. 2026-2027 has officially begun. Let’s make it a year to remember. 💙

💚 A HEARTFELT THANK YOU, MA'AM CAROLYN ZEPEDA - THOR💚

Some heroes do not wear capes. They carry bags filled with hope, pencils that write dreams, and papers that open doors to a brighter tomorrow.

Today, the entire Cabasan Elementary School family — from our dedicated staff to our wide-eyed learners — overflows with gratitude as we receive the generous donation of bags and school supplies from the kind-hearted Ma'am Carolyn Zepeda - Thor

Ma'am Carolyn, each bag you gave is more than just a vessel for books. It is a promise carried on a child's back. A promise that someone believes in them. Each pencil and crayons is not just a tool for writing/drawing, but a wand that will help them draw the future they deserve. Each paper is a blank canvas where their DREAMS can take root, their KNOWLEDGE can LEARN MORE, and their GREATNESS can ACHIEVE its fullest bloom.

In a world where kindness is the most beautiful language, you spoke directly to the hearts of our Cabasan learners. You reminded them that distance and circumstance cannot dim the light of compassion. Because of you, many little hands will hold a pencil with more confidence, many little shoulders will carry their books with more pride, and many little hearts will walk to school knowing they are seen, valued, and loved.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Ma'am Carolyn Zepeda - Thor. Your generosity has planted seeds of hope in our school grounds. We promise to nurture them with quality education, so that one day, our learners may also grow into generous souls who pay your kindness forward.

📢 *PARENTS' ORIENTATION and Enrollment S.Y. 2026-2027* 📢

In the spirit of true partnership and shared purpose, Cabasan Elementary School conducted Parents Orientation to all parents and guardians this June 4, 2026, 9:30 AM at the Kalahi Building, thoughtfully facilitated by our dedicated School Principal, Ma'am Evelyn Barsaga.

As we open the gates to School Year 2026-2027, this gathering serves as a bridge connecting home and school, a space where dreams for our children take root and grow. Ma'am Evelyn discussed the latest updates from the Department of Education, including new learning initiatives, Brigada updates, enrollment and The Three-Term School Calendar this School Year 2026-2027 designed to nurture not just academic excellence, but also the heart and character of every Cabasan learner.

Your presence is more than attendance. It is a promise. A promise that together, we will cultivate an environment where every child can DREAM BIG, LEARN MORE, and ACHIEVE GREATNESS. Because when parents and teachers walk hand in hand, no goal is too far, and no dream is too high for our children to reach.
