In connection with the observance of Fire Prevention Month this March, the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (SDRRMO), headed by Mr. John Paul D. Aquino, in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Baao, successfully conducted a Fire Safety Seminar on March 23, 2026.

Students and employees actively participated in the activity, gaining valuable knowledge on fire prevention, safety measures, and proper emergency response.

The BCC-SDRRMO extends its sincere gratitude to the Bureau of Fire Protection Baao, headed by SFO4 Christine S. Ayubo, OIC Municipal Fire Marshal, together with SFO1 John Pett B. Imperial, FO1 Leonardi Y. Vibar, and FO1 John Philip R. Arevalo, for sharing their expertise and supporting this important initiative.

The BCC-SDRRMO also expresses its appreciation to the Campus Administrator for the continued support in strengthening the institution’s disaster preparedness and response capabilities.

In its continued efforts to strengthen Baao Community College’s commitment to emergency preparedness and resilience, the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (SDRRMO) headed by Mr. John Paul D. Aquino in partnership with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Baao, successfully conducted a 3-Day Standard First Aid Training (SFAT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Employees last March 10–13, 2026.

Selected employees from various offices and departments participated in the hands-on life-saving training, which enhanced their quick response skills and developed essential competencies needed to respond effectively during emergencies.

The BCC-SDRRMO extends its sincere gratitude to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Baao, headed by Local DRRM Officer III Mr. Vincent Paz, for sharing their expertise and supporting this important initiative. The training was facilitated by Admin and Training Officer Mr. Manuel Jessan Badong, with the support of Operations and Warning Officer Mr. Josafat A. Bersola, together with Mr. Alvin John Barrameda, Mr. Kierwyn Jasper B. Babor, Mr. Justin Paolo B. Babor, Jarika Jayona Labilles, Marriane Rose Palencia and Ms. Snooky De Lima.
