Yun o! Tuloy tuloy ang trabaho! Youth Assistance Program is back through CHED's Tulong Dunong Program! Open to ALL qualified Benguet residents!

Calling all freshmen enrolled in any undergraduate program this academic year, we now have funds for the Tulong Dunong Program of Commission on Higher Education (CHED)!

Please go to our office starting Monday to submit your application, processing of applications will be on first come first serve basis. Forms may be downloaded here:

We have more than 1,000 slots open and in addition to these, all barangays were also given 4 slots each, you may coordinate with your respective SK Chairpersons or your Barangay Captains.

All applications will be validated and assessed by CHED. If successful, scholar ka na hanggang sa makatapos ka na 4-year course! No need to re-apply every year! Each successful applicant will receive 7,500 pesos per semester!

Kahit anong pinagmulan mo, kahit saan ka pinanganak, kahit anong background mo, basta taga Benguet ka na, qualified ka! Tara, apply na!

In preparation of the SK Barangay Budgeting and in coordination with the municipal planning office, a 3-day Training Workshop on SK Planning and Budgeting was conducted last June 24-26, 2024 at Asin Hotspring Pooten Resort, Km.16, Asin Road, Nangalisan, Tuba, Benguet. Among the participants were the 6 SK Chairpersons of the 8 Barangays of Atok lead by the SKF President Hon. Jeclaire Campana, namely; Hon. Evasco Andrew of Brgy. Caliking along with his SK Treasurer and SK Kagawads; Hon. Donald Compalas of Brgy. Topdac with his SK Kagawad and SK Secretary; Hon. Rinly Ranille of Brgy. Abiang; Hon. Jeclaire Campana of Brgy. Naguey; Hon. Rhelmar Cawaing of Brgy. Paoay and Hon. Vegelyn Ann Antonio of Brgy. Poblacion along with her SK Secretary Reyma Dumes and SK Kagawads- Jerick Pa-ang, Heziel Joyce Calias, Jessa Copero and Florence Fortunato.

PFA Training of Youth Leaders

The Provincial Government of Benguet, through the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President Hon. Meica B. Cayat, conducted a Psychological First Aid Training of trainers today, June 20, 2024, until June 21, 2024, at Rebecka's Restaurant, Buyagan, La Trinidad, Benguet.

The Psychological First Aid training of trainers is a two-day youth capacitation that teaches the basics on mental health. The topics of the training includes discussion on Caring for Mental Health by Dr. Jovy Tangalin, lecture on self-harm by Dr. Sheryll Macazo, introduction to Psychological First Aid by Dr. Roselle Carcia, discussion on Distressing Events by Dr. Patricia Nicole Alcaraz, development of Case Studies, and workshop activities for the Look, Listen, Link PFA principle.

Among the attendees were SK Federation President of Atok, as well as SK Chairpersons from Barangays, Paoay, and Poblacion: Hon. Jeclaire Campana, Hon. Vegelyn Antonio, and Hon. Rhelmar Cawaing, respectively.

Together, these efforts propel us toward a community committed to promoting mental well-being.
