Chief Education Specialist - School Governance and Operations Division Lucio B. Alawas inspired the elementary and secondary teachers during the conduct of Learning Action Cell in the District of Atok on February 7.

He challenged the teachers to become more creative in their teaching. He motivated them to find ways on how else they can improve their strategies in the classroom especially in reading and numeracy.

Further, he expressed his gratitude to the teachers for doing their best in teaching their learners.

Mag-aaral sa baitang 7at 11, sumailalim sa RAT

Naging matagumpay ang pagsasagawa ng Regional Assessment Test (RAT) sa mga mag-aaral ng baitang 7 at 11 ng Atok National High School (ANHS), noong Enero 17, 19 at 20 sa dalawang ICT room ng paaralan.
Nagsilbing chief examiner si Gng. Gregoria M. Lipa-od, punungguro ng paaralan at si Gng. Stefany D. Lesino, Guidance Councilor ng paaralan, ang tumayong School Testing Coordinator. Samantala room examiners naman sina Gng. Aileen Marie San Luis at Gng. Analyn Egenias kapwa ICT coordinators. Tumulong naman sa pangangasiwa ng pagsusulit sina Gng. Cresilda S. Depaynos, Administrative Aid at G. Mark Steven D. Cariño, Admintrative officer ng paaralan.
Natapos ang pagsusulit ayon sa oras, maayos at payapa ang daloy, nakiayon ang internet at walang naging problema ang mga mag-aaral at mga room examiner.
Dinisenyo ang RAT para sa mga mga-aaral na nasa baitang 7 at 11 sa pampublikong paaralan, Science at Alternative Learning System (ALS) elementary at Junior high School completers sa buong Cordillera.
Samantala noong Peb.2-3 ay isinagawa ang expanded RAT para sa mga paaralang hindi nakasama sa naunang pagsasagawa ng RAT. Nagsisilbing mga testing center ang mga paaralang mayroong koneksyon ng internet, Computer room ng ibang paaralan at mga computer shops na malapit sa paaralan. JAnne Santos

Atok NHS receives Toyota Pick up Hi-lux from the province

Atok National High School received one unit Toyota Pick up Hi-lux from the Province of Benguet Office through the Provincial General Services Office headed by PGSO officer Jennifer G. Bahod.

The said vehicle is intended for the Automotive Servicing which the school is offering. The equipment serves as an instructional material for the students who are enrolled in the Technical and Vocational Livelihood track with AS as one of its strands.

According to Charlie G. Manangwe, a TVL – AS teacher the equipment is a great help so that the students would easily grasp the concept of their lessons.

He further stated that the students are more motivated to learn if they have materials for the hands-on activities in class.

CCTV installed in ANHS

Network based closed-circuit television (CCTV) system with five full color bullet IP cameras have been installed in Atok National High School last October 6, 2022.

The installation is expected to improve security and ensure safety of the students and employees inside the school premises.
Also, it heightens the security of school properties and facilities.
The CCTV cameras are located at the entrance and exit gates of the schools and other strategic locations so security personnel can easily monitor any inappropriate or illegal activities inside the school premises and on its perimeter areas.

The allocated budget for the said project amounting to Php 40,000.00 pesos is from the Brigada Fund with the full support of parents and other school stakeholders.

An additional of three CCTV cameras is eyed to be installed as soon as the fund is available.

Atok NHS family expresses their gratitude to Benguet State University employee’s associations for choosing the school as one of the recepients of some school supplies.

The representative employees biked from BSU La Trinidad to ANHS to drop the said donations earlier this day.

The conducted biking activity cm outreach program is dubbed as “Edafoan tan Davan: The Montañosa Ride”, the university’s felicitations for the Foundation Day of La Trinidad.
