Ang DEHYDRATION ay isang kondisyon kung saan
ang katawan ay kulang na sa tubig na kinakailangan
nito. Ito ay nangyayari kapag mas marami ang nawawalang tubig sa katawan ng isang tao kaysa sa
iniinom nito dahil sa labis na pagpapawis, pagsusuka o pagtatae.

1. Palaging uminom ng tubig hindi lang tuwing nauuhaw (8-10 baso araw-araw)
2. Magdala ng water bottle kahit saan magpunta.
3. Magsuot ng presko at komportableng damit.
4. Kumain ng mga prutas at gulay na mataas ang water contenttulad ng pakwan, pipino at orange.
5. Limitahan ang pag-inom ng alak,mainit na kape o tsaa.
6. Maligo upang maibsan ang init na pakiramdam ng katawan.

This law firmly grounded in the principles of the Philippine Constitution and supported by existing national laws, development plans, and the countryโ€™s commitments to health and nutrition. These foundations ensure that the law is not implemented in isolation but rather aligned with broader goals in improving the well-being of mothers and children. First 1000 Days (F1KD) was included as one of the initiatives in the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN). By anchoring the law on these frameworks, the government strengthens its commitment to addressing malnutrition and promoting proper care during the most critical stages of life.

The implementation of RA 11148 is closely linked to the ๐˜•๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ข๐˜ญ ๐˜š๐˜บ๐˜ด๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ฎ ๐˜ง๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ ๐˜Œ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ญ๐˜บ ๐˜Š๐˜ฉ๐˜ช๐˜ญ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฅ ๐˜Š๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜‹๐˜ฆ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฑ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต (๐˜Œ๐˜Š๐˜Š๐˜‹), as established under ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐˜‚๐—ฏ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ฐ ๐—”๐—ฐ๐˜ ๐—ก๐—ผ. ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ, or the Early Years Act. This means that the programs and services under RA 11148 are part of a larger, organized effort to support the growth and development of young childrenโ€”from pregnancy up to early childhoodโ€”ensuring that they receive proper nutrition, healthcare, and early learning opportunities.

The ECCD system is designed to be ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ, ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฑ, ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜€๐˜‚๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐—น๐—ฒ bringing together different sectors and stakeholders to work toward a common goal. This includes collaboration among national and local government agencies, private sectors, professional groups, academe, service providers, families, and communities. Through this coordinated approach, resources and expertise are shared, making programs more effective and responsive to the needs of mothers and children across the country.

๐—œ. ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ด๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐˜† โ€“ This stage is equivalent to ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฌ ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐˜€. It is the period when the baby developing in the womb draws all his/her nutrients from the mother. Pregnant woman needs to receive adequate prenatal care, minimum of 8 pre-natal visits, 180 tablets of iron-folic acid supplementation, and balanced protein-energy dietary supplementation, especially those women from food insecure households.

๐—œ๐—œ. ๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—œ๐—ป๐—ณ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐˜† (๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—บ ๐—ฏ๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ต ๐˜๐—ผ ๐Ÿฒ ๐—บ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜๐—ต๐˜€) - This is equivalent to about ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿด๐Ÿฌ ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐˜€. All infants in the first 6 months need to be exclusively breastfed for optimal development. Breast milk is the only superfood for babies. It provides the best nutrition an infant can get and serves as the first immunization against illness and disease.

๐—œ๐—œ๐—œ. ๐—ข๐—น๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ฒ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ณ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐˜† ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ฑ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฑ โ€“ This is equivalent to ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฌ ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐˜€. During this stage, children need to receive age-appropriate complementary food in addition to breast milk to ensure healthy growth and brain development. Micronutrient supplementation is also given to children at this stage.
