The Municipal Government of Asturias informs the public that 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, is a 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙣𝙤𝙣-𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮 throughout the Province of Cebu in commemoration of its Charter Day and 457th Founding Anniversary.

The holiday is observed pursuant to Republic Act No. 7698, which declares August 6 of every year a special non-working public holiday in the Province of Cebu, as amended by Republic Act No. 8952, which expanded its coverage to include the cities specified under the law.

Accordingly, 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 in the offices of the Municipal Government of Asturias shall be 𝙨𝙪𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚. Offices and personnel responsible for emergency response, healthcare, public safety, disaster management, and other essential services shall remain operational as necessary.

Regular government operations and office transactions shall 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙚 on 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Suggested Client Flow for Assistance Distribution
1. Checker (LGU/DSWD)
◦ HHH beneficiaries: The LGU will conduct the initial checking.
◦ Replacement beneficiaries: The DSWD will verify and check the roster (unyag duol iingun sa kinsa ang naa sa lista unya muingun lng nga siya replacemet)
◦ Once verified, the DSWD personnel will distribute the necessary forms to the clients.
2. Accomplishment of Forms
◦ Clients will fill out the required forms.
◦ Since most beneficiaries are senior citizens or may have difficulty writing, assigned manpower (e.g., BHWs, CDWs, and other support personnel) will assist them in accomplishing the forms.
3. Verification
◦ Clients will proceed to the designated verification table.
◦ Verification will be faster because the Payroll Number has already been indicated during the checking stage.
4. Online Tagging
◦ Clients will present their accomplished and signed documents from the Social Workers.
◦ DSWD personnel will conduct the online tagging of the beneficiaries.
5. Release of Assistance
◦ After successful verification and online tagging, clients will proceed to the releasing area to receive their financial assistance.
6. G2P Orientation (With GCash / Without GCash)
◦ After receiving the assistance, clients will proceed to the G2P Orientation Table.
◦ They will be oriented on the process for future payouts using GCash or LandBank as payment channels.
7. LandBank Table
◦ Clients who prefer to receive future payouts through LandBank will be referred by the ICTMS personnel for account-related assistance and enrollment.
8. PSA Table
◦ Clients may also visit the PSA Table to inquire about concerns related to their National ID (NID) status and other PSA-related services.
This workflow ensures a smooth, systematic, and efficient processing of beneficiaries from registration up to post-release orientation.

The Municipality of Asturias successfully passed the Calendar Year 2025 Peace and Order Council (POC) Performance Audit, earning a 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 with a final score of 90.13%.

Based on the official audit results released by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region VII, Asturias obtained 64.7500 points under Pillar 1 and 25.3846 points under Pillar 2.

This achievement reflects the Municipality’s sustained commitment to effective peace and order governance through sound policies and plans, responsive organizational management, proper supervision, and programs that strengthen public safety and community participation.

The Local Government Unit of Asturias extends its appreciation to the members of the Municipal Peace and Order Council, partner agencies, barangay officials, and all stakeholders whose collective efforts contributed to this accomplishment.

FREE CERTIFICATE FOR FIRST-TIME JOB SEEKERS

Pursuant to REBUBLIC ACT NO.11261 (First Time Job seekers Assistance Act), qualified first-time job seekers may avail of a Barangay Certification for. First-Time Jonseekers FREE OF CHARGE, provided they meet the requirements under the law.
This Certificate is intended solely for first-time employment applications and may be used to avail of fee exemptions for certain government -issued pre-employment documents.

CERTIFICATES AND CLEARANCES WITH CORRESPONDING FEES
