𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒| On March 26, 2026 six (6) qualified beneficiaries of 𝐑.𝐀 111982 , also know as the "𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭" received 10,000.00 as cash gift who turned 80, 85, and 90 years old last year 2025.

The distribution was facilitated by Special Disbursing Officer (SDO) from the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSO), assisted by MSWDO, and Chapter president at the SB hall, 𝐋𝐆𝐔-𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐞

Facilitated by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), at Arteche E-Complex today March 13, 2026. The event carried with the sub-theme :"𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬, 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬".

Women from government offices, BLGUs, womens with disabilities from different barangays, CSO representatives such as 4Ps and BHW participated in the celebration. The program featured with morning zumba, insightful discussion on Cervical and Breast Cancer Awareness, R.A 9710 or Magna Carta for Women, Referral System for Victim-Survivor and the R.A 11313 or Safe Act or Bawal Bastos Law.

Let us honor the incredible woman who continue to inspire change, lead with courage & shape a better future for generation to come. may we continue to support with equality, respect and empowerment for all women.

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) spearheaded the conduct of advocacy on the Expanded Solo Parent Welfare Act or R.A. 11861 to 20 barangays of the municipality from February 27- March 6, 2026. The highlights of the discussion focuses on the categories of solo parents and its requirements and the comprehensive package of social services . Also, profiling was conducted to eligible solo parent. For any inquiry about the Solo Parent Welfare Program you may visit the MSWD office.

Local Government Unit of Arteche proudly joins the National Childrens Month Celebration with a theme; "OSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan : Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata Ipaglaban" This year theme is anchored on the Online Sexual abuse and Exploitation of Children and Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials.

The key feature of the event was the delivery of the Annual Local State of children's Report by Hon. Susana M. Evardone- Mun. Mayor , where she presented the municipal accomplishment for the well-being of Artechehanon children wherein no one will be left behind.

Together, let us strive to build a society where every child is protected, cherished and given the opportunity to reach their full potentials, and a child-friendly Artechehanon❤️

In Support of the 33rd National Children's Month, the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office in partnership with Arteche Women and Child Protection Desk (WCPD) and 801st Manuever Company, RMFB 08, spearheaded the conduct of one (1) day orientation/advocacy campaign on RA 11930 or OSAEC-CSAEM and other Child Protection Laws at Arteche National High School participated by 240 Grade 7 Learners.

This years theme: "OSAEC_CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban," highlighted the importance of child protection, raising awareness on children's rights and the growing dangers of online exploitation. Through talks, activities, and interactive learning session participants were reminded of every child's right to a safe, nurturing, and empowered environment both online and offline.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Susana M. Evardone for her untiring support on Child Welfare Program and also to Arteche National High School thru the leadership of Ma'am Lira M. Libanan, PhD for participating the month-long celebration of Children's Month.

Every Child deserve to grow up in a world that values their dreams, provides love, care, and protection on their rights.

The MSWD Office conduct regular monitoring of Supplemental Feeding Program to Child Development Centers to ensure feeding program is properly and appropriately implemented wherein " No Child Left Behind".

Part of the monitoring is the proper administration of ECCD Checklist and individual assessment of their Children.
