Aritao Fire Station, led by ๐’๐…๐Ž4 ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ง ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐‚ ๐„๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ, Officer-in-Charge, in coordination with partner agencies, activated First Aid Services Team to provide immediate medical assistance and emergency response during the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporationโ€”one of the countryโ€™s premier cycling events that brings together professional and amateur cyclists from across the nation, showcasing endurance, teamwork, and sportsmanship along key routes in Luzon.

This station is committed not only to fire safety and prevention, but also to the preservation of life, prompt emergency response, and the continuous safeguarding of the communityโ€™s safety and well-being.

On or about 1540H of May 1, 2026, duty personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection โ€“ Aritao Fire Station, under the leadership of ๐’๐…๐Ž๐Ÿ’ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ง ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐‚ ๐„๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ, ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ซ-๐ข๐ง-๐‚๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ ๐ž, responded to a reported tricycle self-accident at Purok 5, Bone South, Aritao.

Upon arrival and assessment at the scene, initial care was given by the responding personnel and the victim was immediately brought to the RHU for proper medical evaluation and further management.

Responding personnel likewise ensured scene safety and coordinated with other concerned agencies during the operation.

On or about 0900H, ๐’๐…๐Ž๐Ÿ’ ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ง ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐‚ ๐„๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ, ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ซ-๐ข๐ง-๐‚๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ ๐ž attended a short informal meeting regarding the upcoming MPTC Tour of Luzon 2026.

The meeting was headed by the MDRRMO together with the Tourism Officer, ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐™๐ž๐ง๐š๐ข๐๐š ๐‹๐จ๐ซ; PNP represented by the Deputy, ๐๐‚๐€๐๐“ ๐‘๐„๐˜๐๐€๐‹๐ƒ๐Ž ๐€๐†๐‘๐€๐•๐„; and OIC POSU, ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐๐š๐ฒ๐š๐ง๐ข ๐†๐š๐ฉ๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐ง.

Thereafter, personnel of BFP Aritao proceeded to Junction Petron and conducted a flushing operation to help ensure road safety, cleanliness, and overall area preparedness in anticipation of the activity.

This initiative forms part of the continuous inter-agency coordination and public safety efforts to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of major events within the municipality.

For four consecutive Tuesdays, BFP Aritao, in partnership with MENRO Aritao through the initiative of Forester Joseph Copena and with funding support from the LGU, successfully conducted Forest Fire Management, Prevention, and Control Trainings for all barangays of Aritao.

The training accommodated barangay officials and tanods from the municipalityโ€™s clustered barangays and focused on strengthening community preparedness, fire safety awareness, and proper emergency response during forest fire incidents. The activity included lectures, demonstrations, and practical applications facilitated by BFP personnel.

This initiative reflects the continued collaboration and commitment of the LGU, MENRO, and BFP in protecting lives, properties, and the environment from fire-related hazards.
